STEVEN N. BARLOW is a Vice President at Credit Suisse First Boston.
Previously, he was associated with Smith Barney, Citibank, Columbia
Pictures Entertainment, Inc., an Nabisco, Inc. He received his
Bachelor’s degree in Economics from St. Lawrence University and his
M.B.A. in Finance from New York University. Mr. Barlow is married and
has one child. He includes skiing, hiking and windsurfing among his
personal interests.
STEVEN M. ASHLEY is a Senior Vice President with Robert W. Baird &
Company, Inc., where he covers the Information Technology Services
industry. A financial analyst for 17 years, he was previously associated
with Cleary Gull Reiland & McDevitt and with Blunt Ellis & Loewi. Mr.
Ashley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the
University of Wisconsin, Whitewater and an MBA from the University of
Wisconsin, Madison.
STEVEN HASH is a Managing Director of Lehman Brothers and Senior Equity
Analyst for the Real Estate Investment Trust industry. Previously, he
was associated with Oppenheimer and Arthur Andersen & Co. A Certified
Public Accountant, he is a graduate of Loyola University and received
his MBA from New York University. Mr. Hash is a member of the National
Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts and is a past President of
the Real Estate Analyst Group.
STEVEN GISH is a Research Analyst at Roth Capital Partners. Mr.
Gish focuses on companies with business lines or engagements in
the security, defense and industrial markets. Before joining Roth
Capital Partners in 2000, Mr. Gish held several audit and analyst
positions in Seattle and Los Angeles with a subsidiary of
Deutsche Bank, where he specialized in financing programs for
technology and industrial companies. Mr. Gish earned an MBA from
the University of Colorado in 1995, and was awarded the Chartered
Financial Analyst designation in 2002. Mr. Gish is a member of
the Association for Investment Management and Research and the
Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts.
STEVEN EISMAN is a Managing Director of CIBC Oppenheimer. Previously,
he was associated with Strook & Strook & Lavan, a law firm. Mr. Eisman
received his Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of
Pennsylvania and his Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.
STEVEN CHERCOVER joined D.A. Davidson in February 2000 as a
senior research analyst. Prior to joining D.A. Davidson, he
covered the Canadian forest products industry for T.D. Securities
in Canada. His knowledge of the Canadian industry and current
location in Portland, Oregon, give him a unique perspective of
the evolving North American forest products industry. His
coverage universe is comprised of 15 publicly traded companies in
the US and Canada. A native of Toronto, Mr. Chercover holds a
bachelor’s degree from the University of Western Ontario, an MBA
from the University of Toronto, and the Chartered Financial
Analyst designation.
STEVEN C. PELAYO is a Vice President who joined Morgan Stanley in 1996
and covers the semiconductor capital equipment industry. Mr. Pelayo
started at the firm as a Research Associate and in 1999 was named a
Senior Analyst focusing on a subsection of the semiconductor capital
equipment group called back-end test, assembly, and packaging. Prior to
joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Pelayo was a member of the Equity Research
Department of Prudential Securities. He was ranked second in the 2003
Greenwich Associate’s weighted research survey for semiconductor capital
equipment, runnerup in the 2002 Institutional Investor’s survey, first
in stock-picking ability in The Wall Street Journal’s 2003 Best on the
Street survey, and first in stock picking and earnings estimate accuracy
in StarMine’s 2002 ranking. Mr. Pelayo received a BS in Finance from San
Diego State University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
STEVEN C. DELANEY, Vice President, joined Ryan Beck & Co. in January
2003 with 25 years of banking and securities industry experience. Most
recently, he served as President of BB&T Capital Markets, a division of
NYSE-member firm Scott & Stringfellow, Inc. Mr. DeLaney joined Scott &
Stringfellow in 1991 and served as Chief Financial Officer prior to
assuming responsibility for all capital markets activities in 1996.
Before entering the securities industry, he spent 15 years with
Investors Financial Corporation, a diversified thrift holding company,
where he served as Chief Financial Officer and as President and Chief
Administrative Officer. He has a BA in Economics with distinction from
the University of Virginia, and an MBA, Finance concentration, from the
University of Richmond. He also earned a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate
in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University. His professional
licenses include NASD Series 7, Series 9/10, Series 24, Series 27 and
Series 63.
STEVEN BAUMGARTEN, Assistant Vice President and Research Analyst,
joined Parker/Hunter’s Equity Research Department in July 1999.
He was named a Zacks Investment Research All-Star Analyst for the
retail industry in 2001. Before joining the firm for a second
time, he worked at Prudential Securities, where he co-managed a
portfolio of stocks using technical and quantitative models.
During this time, he was a guest lecturer at the New York
Institute of Finance. Prior to his three-year stint in New York
he was a member of Parker/Hunter’s Portfolio Management
Department. As a teenager, he had numerous equity-related
internships, including working on the American Stock Exchange
Trading Floor. He received his MBA in Finance from the Katz
Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. He
also attended the University of Pittsburgh for his undergraduate
studies, where he received a BA in Economics and Business as well
as a Certificate in Accounting.
STEVEN B. FRANKEL is Managing Director at Adams Harkness & Hill. His
profes-sional membership and accomplishments include: CFA, Wall Street
Journal All Star 2000 – Home Run Hitter, ranked 2nd in stock picking and
ranked number one Internet Analyst. Mr. Frankel has a BA in Economics
and an MBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His
hobbies include: windsurfing, kayaking, computers, trekking in Nepal,
playing and being with his children.
