ROBERT HINCHLIFFE is an Associate Director in the consumer group
of UBS Warburg Equity Research. He specializes in domestic auto
parts companies. Prior to joining UBS Warburg, he assisted in
coverage of the automotive industry at PaineWebber Incorporated.
He holds an MBA in finance from New York University and a BA in
economics from Rutgers College. He is also a Chartered Financial
Analyst.
ROBERT H. UHL is a Vice President in Salomon Smith Barney’s equity
research department where he covers the specialty pharmaceutical/drug
delivery sector. Previously, he was associated with F. Eberstadt. He
earned his Bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Purdue University
after which he conducted pharmacology research with the equity research
facility at the University of Kentucky. Mr. Uhl received his Master’s
degree in International Business from the University of South Carolina.
ROBERT GIUNTA is an Equities Analyst and Sector Manager with TIAA-CREF.
He graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor’s degree in Physics
and received a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford.
Mr. Giunta spent the first half of his career in engineering and
science, developing hardware for IBM and the U.S. Navy. More recently,
he served as an IT manager with TIAA-CREF and Donaldson, Lufkin &
Jenrette.
ROBERT E. FRIEDMAN is a senior investment officer and analyst in
Standard & Poor’s Equity Research department. Since mid-1998, he has
been covering the aerospace and defense industry, as well as industrial
conglomerates with large aerospace-related operations. From mid-1996 to
mid-1998, he covered the environmental and auto retail industries. He is
also S&P Equity’s senior accounting analyst. In this capacity, one of
his most recent assignments was the creation of the definitional
framework behind Standard & Poor’s new Core Earnings project. Mr.
Friedman received a BA in Business Administration from Muhlenberg
College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He also received an MBA in
Accounting and an MS in Taxation and Advanced Certificate in Finance
from the Fordham University Graduate School of Business in New York. In
addition, Mr. Friedman is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member
of the Financial Accounting Standards Board’s User Advisory Council, the
Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council, the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of CPAs, as well
as the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Mr. Friedman
has appeared on CNBC, CNN, Bloomberg TV and The Nightly Business Report.
He has also been widely quoted in the financial press, including The
Wall Street Journal, New York Times, BusinessWeek, Fortune, Financial
Times, Institutional Investor and The Economist.
ROBERT C. FAULKNER is a Senior Medical Device Analyst with Hambrecht &
Quist. Previously, he was associated with Warburg Dillon Read, The
Wilkerson Group and SmithKline Beecham. Mr. Faulkner earned his
Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from the Tuck
School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.
ROBERT BURLESON is a senior research analyst at ThinkEquity Partners
LLC, covering analog and mixed-signal semiconductors. Prior to joining
ThinkEquity Partners in September 2004, he covered semiconductors for
several firms including Thomas Weisel Partners and Investec. Before
becoming a research analyst, he worked in investment banking for Banc of
America Securities. He holds a BA from University of California at
Berkeley.
Robert Brown is a Senior Research Analyst in the equity research department at
Craig-Hallum Capital Group LLC, where he covers alternative energy and cleantech
companies. Mr. Brown holds a B.S. in aerospace engineering from the University
of Minnesota and an MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of
Management. He is a CFA charterholder.
ROBERT B. WILKES is a Vice President at Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder,
Inc. Previously he was associated with Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. Mr.
Wilkes received an AB from Yale and an MBA from Harvard. He is a
Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the AIMR and the NYSSA. Mr.
Wilkes is married and has two children. In his free time he enjoys
playing basketball, monitoring monetary policy and watching ‘whodunits.’
ROBERT A. LEE is a First Vice President in the financial services group
of PaineWebber Equity Research. An analyst since 1992, he specializes in
life insurance and asset management companies. Prior to joining
PaineWebber, Mr. Lee worked for Citicorp as an Assistant Vice President
and at Dean Witter as a Eurobond trader. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in
Business Administration from Rutgers University and an MBA in Finance
from New York University.
ROB ROSENTHAL is a senior research analyst in IDC’s Hardware Channel
research group. Mr. Rosenthal focuses on the impact of the Internet and
e-business technologies on corporations. He specializes in online
strategic sourcing and dynamic pricing systems, and their effect on
companies’ sales and purchasing strategies. He also writes about the
impact of enterprise portals and globalization on companies’ marketing,
sales and support strategies. In addition, he forecasts and analyzes
Internet demographics and e-commerce spending levels. Mr. Rosenthal’s
research has been cited by the business and technology press worldwide,
including CNBC and Investor’s Business Daily. Before joining IDC, he was
an Internet consultant to local management consulting firms in Poland.
Mr. Rosenthal received his MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of
Business at Babson College. He received his BA from Brown University,
where he studied English and American Literature.
