ROBIN SHOEMAKER is an Equipment Analyst at Bear, Stearns & Co. Mr.
Shoemaker had a 13-year career in equity research at Lehman Brothers.
Mr. Shoemaker was a runner-up on Institutional Investor’s All-America
Research Team from 1990-1992. He was listed in the Wall Street Journal’s
1993 and 1996 surveys of all-star analyst. He has served as President of
the Oil Analyst Group of New York and is a member of the National
Association of Petroleum Investment Analysts. Mr. Shoemaker received a
BA from the University of Texas at Austin and an MA and PhD from the
University of Chicago.
ROBIN M. FARLEY is an Executive Director in the equity research division
of UBS Warburg covering the cruise line, gaming and leisure industries.
Prior to joining Paine Webber (acquired by UBS Warburg), Ms. Farley was
with Deutsche Banc. Alex. Brown and its predecessor firms (BT Alex.
Brown and BT Securities, subsidiaries of Bankers Trust). She has
appeared on CNN and CNBC, and frequently in other media discussing the
leisure industry. Ranked by Institutional Investor magazine for her
research, she has also been named a Wall Street Journal All Star/Best on
The Street, including being ranked number one for stock-picking and an
All-Star for estimate accuracy in 1999. She holds a BA from Princeton
University and an MBA with honors from Columbia Business School. Ms.
Farley is a member of the NYSSA.
ROBIN FARLEY is a Vice President and Senior Analyst in the Equity
Research Division of Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown, where she covers the
cruise line, gaming and leisure industries. Prior to joining the firm,
she was associated with Ladenburg Thalmann & Company as an Equity
Analyst. Ms. Farley holds a Bachelor’s degree from Princeton University
and an MBA from Columbia Business School. She is a member of the NYSSA.
ROBERT S. PATTEN is a Director in the equity research department
at UBS Warburg, New York office, responsible for coverage of US
regional banks. Prior to joining UBS Warburg, he was associated
with Lehman Brothers and Salomon Brothers. Previously, he spent
16 years in the commercial banking industry with Summit Bancorp
and PNC Bank. The majority of his career was spent in various
capacities in the middle market lending and credit functions. He
holds a BS in Accounting and Finance from Monmouth University.
ROBERT PEETS joined Golden Capital Securities in June 2000 as the Small
and Micro Cap Research Analyst covering a wide range of industries
including high-tech, pharmaceuticals, industrial products and
financials. Prior to joining Golden Capital, he was a Portfolio Manager
for a national private client investment management firm. He received
his MBA from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western
Ontario and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
ROBERT P. CURRAN is a Vice President and Senior Industry Specialist at
Merrill Lynch. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from
Boston College and his MBA from Columbia University. Mr. Curran is a
member of the NYSSA and the AIMR.
ROBERT NORFLEET has been First Vice President at Davenport &
Company since 1994. He was recognized in 1999 by The Wall Street
Journal as an All Star Analyst. Mr. Norfleet received a BA from
the University of the South, Sewanee; an MBA with honors from the
Virginia Commonwealth University; and attended St. Johns College,
Oxford, England.
ROBERT MCCONNAUGHEY is a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager
of Prudential Real Estate Securities Investors. Previously, he was
associated with Fidelity Investment. Mr. McConnaughey received his
Bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College.
ROBERT MAIRE joined Needham & Co. in May 2004, coming from Bear Stearns
& Co. Prior to that he was with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette from 1996,
covering semiconductor capital equipment. Before joining DLJ, he was
with Morgan Stanley as a Research Analyst covering semiconductor
equipment, peripherals, wireless and specialized systems. He was
previously a manager in Morgan Stanley’s Information Technology group.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Maire was a Manager in the
Information Technology division of Bankers Trust Company. He holds a BS
degree in Electrical Engineering and a BS degree in Computer Science
from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He has been cited
by the Wall Street Journal in its annual survey of earnings estimate
accuracy. He has been ranked by Institutional Investor for the past
several years.
ROBERT M. GOLDMAN is a Senior Vice President and Analyst at
Buckingham Research Group, Inc., covering health care (medical
devices and supplies). He has 14 years’ experience in the
securities industry, 10 covering the medical devices and supplies
industry. He was named to Institutional Investor and The Wall
Street Journal All-Star teams while at Salomon Smith Barney and
Dean Witter Reynolds. He served as Director of Research for the
Americas and head of US Equities for Paribas and Credit Lyonnais.
His industry experience prior to entering the financial sector
was with Baxter International, Shell Chemical and General
Electric. He received a BS in Chemical Engineering from
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Harvard Business
School.
