AMY S. BUTTE is a Managing Director at Bear, Stearns & Company, covering
the Securities Brokerage, Asset Management, and Financial Technology
Industries. The Wall Street Journal All-Star Analyst 2000 Survey rated
her Number One in the Securities Industry. Institutional Investor also
named her as a Runner-Up in the Brokers and Asset Managers All-Star
list. Prior to joining Bear Stearns Equity Research Department, Ms.
Butte initiated coverage of the Securities Broker Dealer industry at
Merrill Lynch. Her previous experience includes positions at Bridge
Information Systems, Merrin Financial, and Andersen Consulting. Ms.
Butte holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Political Science and Psychology from Yale University.
AMELIA K. MCDONALD is a Senior Analyst-Medical Technology at Lehman
Brothers. Previously, she was associated with CS First Boston and
McKinsey & Company. Ms. McDonald earned her Bachelor’s degree in
chemical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and her
M.B.A from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.

FREDERICK A. WISE is a Senior Managing Director at Bear, Stearns &
Company. Previously, he was associated with Kidder Peabody & Co. and
Forbes Inc. He earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the
Manhattan School of Music. A Chartered Financial Analyst, he is a member
of the NYSSA. SALLY YANCHUS is a Vice President at Scudder Kemper
Investments. Previously, she was associated with Oppenheimer & Co.,
Lehman Brothers and Morgan Stanley. A member of the Healthcare
Information Management Systems Society, she earned her Bachelor’s degree
from Wellesley College and her MBA from Columbia Business School. Ms.
Yanchus includes running and skiing among her personal interests and has
run in six New York City Marathons.
AMANDA TEPPER is a Senior Analyst at J.P. Morgan Securities covering
environmental services. She also intends to launch coverage on the
packaging sector. In March 2000, Ms. Tepper joined Chase H&Q to help
build the firm’s consumer equity practice. Prior to becoming an equity
analyst at J.P. Morgan Chase, she spent eight years as an investment
banker in Chase’s Consumer and Retail Industries Group, advising and
financing many of the leading companies in those sectors. She received
her MBA from The Wharton School of Business at the University of
Pennsylvania, and her BA (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from Brown
University.
ALVIN D. SILBER is the Energy Research Analyst at Herzog, Heine, Geduld,
Inc. Previously, he was associated with Kidder, Peabody & Co., Dean
Witter, and Mobil, Inc. Mr. Silber received his Bachelor’s degree in
Economics from New York University, as well as his Master’s degree and a
Doctorate in Chemical Engineering. He is member of the National
Petroleum Investment Analysts and the NYSSA.
ALLEN NOGEE is a Principal Analyst at In-Stat/MDR for the Wireless
Component Technology Service and is responsible for identifying and
tracking hardware and semiconductor content in wireless communications
equipment and forecasting future demand. Mr. Nogee has more than 20
years of experience in the electronics industry in hardware and software
development. Before joining In-Stat/MDR, he was a Product Development
Manager at Syntellect, Inc., and has held design-engineering positions
at MCI, GTE and GE. Mr. Nogee holds a BET in Electrical Engineering from
Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from Arizona State
University.
ALLAN H. COHEN is a Managing Director at First Analysis Securities
Corporation. Prior to joining First Analysis, he was associated with
Kemper Securities, Valspar Corporation, Sherwin-Williams and Champion
International. He earned his BA degree from SUNY at Buffalo, his MBA
from the University of Chicago and his PhD from Northwestern University.
Dr. Cohen is a member of the American Chemical Society, the Commercial
Development Association and the Chemical Management Research
Association. He is married with three children. Dr. Cohen’s personal
interests include bicycling, sailing, scuba diving, and his family.
ALIZA FAN has covered the energy sector for more than 10 years.
She is a Vice President – Senior Equity Analyst at John S.
Herold, Inc., a leading independent oil and gas research company,
where she covers US and overseas E&P companies. She also focuses
on in-depth industry reports and serves as co-editor of the
Herold Energy Investment Outlook. Prior to joining Herold in
September 1996, Ms. Fan covered the oil, natural gas and power
industries for Dow Jones & Co.’s investment research department
and tracked the petroleum industry for the financial news group
of a leading trade publication. She is a member of the National
Association of Petroleum Investment Analysts, the Houston
Producers’ Forum and the Independent Petroleum Association of
America. Ms. Fan holds BS and BA degrees from the University of
Maryland, College Park, and an NASD Series 65 license.
ALISSA F. GRAHM is a Media Analyst at William Blair & Company. Prior to
joining William Blair in 1999, she researched companies in radio,
telivision, outdoor advertising, and retail sectors at Banc of America
Securities. Ms. Grahm graduated from Tufts University with a BA in
Economics and holds a MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth. She is a
CFA charterholder and a member of the Investment Analysts Society of
Chicago.
ALICE CORNISH is a Vice President of Equity Research with Prudential
Securities, Inc. Previously, she was associated with Deutsche Banc Alex.
Brown. a Chartered Property-Casualty underwriter, Ms. Cornish studied at
both Illinois State University and DePaul university.
