ALEXANDER PARIS JR. has over 15 years’ experience in the
investment industry and currently serves as Senior Vice President
and Director of Research at Barrington Research Associates, Inc.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Paris worked as an equity trader
at Barrington Trading Company and in trading floor operations at
Stotler & Company, a commodities trading firm, both in Chicago.
Mr. Paris is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a BS degree
in Economics from Northern Illinois University. He is also a
four-time winner of The Wall Street Journal’s ‘Best on the
Street’ analyst survey (2000-2003) for his coverage of the
consumer services industry. In the 2002 survey, he was ranked the
number one stock picker in the consumer services industry. In its
January 2002 issue, Smart Money Magazine named Mr. Paris its ‘Hot
Analyst’ of the month. In May 2002, San Francisco-based StarMine
Corp. ranked him Number Four in a survey of over 3,500 analysts,
regardless of industry covered, for his stock picking performance
in 2001. Mr. Paris has been prominently featured in The Wall
Street Journal, Barron’s, SmartMoney Magazine, Investor’s
Business Daily, The New York Times, Crain’s Chicago Business,
BusinessWeek, Chicago Tribune, as well as many other local,
regional, and national publications, and is a frequent guest on
radio and television shows.
ALEXANDER M. BLANTON is a Senior Director at Ingalls & Snyder LLC. He
has been ranked six times in the Wall Street Journal’s Annual Best on
the Street Analysts Survey in the eight years of the survey. Prior to
joining the firm in 1991, Mr. Blanton was Senior Machinery Analyst at
Merrill Lynch & Co., for 18 years. At Merrill, he was on the
Institutional Investor’s All-American Research Team for many years and
ranked number one in machinery for three years. He has an engineering
degree from the University of Washington and an MBA from the Harvard
Business School.
ALEXANDER A. HITTLE, CFA, is a Senior Research Analyst at A.G. Edwards
where he covers biotechnology and genomics firms. He previously worked
as a lobbyist for a non-profit environmental organization in Washington,
DC. He has an MA from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced
International Studies (SAIS) and a BA from Brown University. He
currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Bloom, a non-profit
organization dedicated to bringing state-of-the-art IT to institutions
involved in plant conservation.
ALEX ZISSON is a Managing Director and Senior Pharmaceutical Analyst
with Chase H&Q. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Brown University.
In his leisure, Mr. Zisson enjoys ‘thinking about ways to make his
clients money’ and playing bridge.
Alex P. Hamilton is Senior Managing Director in Aerospace and Defense at Jesup &
Lamont. He joined the company in July 2007 and as the Director of Research he
and the firm benefit from more than a decade of Wall Street experience. Prior to
Jesup & Lamont, he worked as a Senior Analyst at such small boutiques as Advest,
Benchmark Co., and IRG. Prior to those boutiques, he worked on the Institutional
Investor-ranked team focused on North American and European aerospace and
defense equities at both Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley. He was also selected
for The Wall Street Journal’s “Best on the Street” analyst survey in 2008,
ranking in the top five among 31 analysts in his field for stock picking. He is
frequently quoted in the press and regularly appears on Bloomberg, CNBC and Fox
Business News. He earned his BA in Economics from Brandeis University and is a
member of the National Defense Industrial Association.
RICHARD TORTORIELLO is an Equity Analyst and Senior Associate Director with
Standard & Poor’s U.S. Equity Research. He covers the aerospace and defense
industry, including General Electric, Boeing, United Technologies, all the major
US defense contractors and a number of other aerospace-related companies. He
also authors a bi-annual industry survey entitled “Aerospace & Defense.”
Previously, he performed quantitative research for Standard & Poor’s and covered
a variety of emerging growth stocks, particularly in the financial, energy and
technology sectors. He was also Standard & Poor’s semiconductor equipment
analyst for three years. Prior to joining Standard & Poor’s Equity Group in
August 2000, he served as a software product manager for Thomson Financial,
Standard & Poor’s, and Simon & Schuster. Also, he published a stock market
advisory newsletter (“Market Perspectives”). He holds a BS and MS in Education
from Florida State University and an MBA with a concentration in Corporate
Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
ALAN WEICHSELBAUM is a Senior Vice President and Research Analyst at
Gerard Klauer Mattison & Co., Inc. (GKM), covering the Internet sector.
Prior to joining GKM he was a Partner at Arbor Partners, LP, a New York-
based hedge fund with a value investment philosophy. Prior to that, Mr.
Weichselbaum was a Junior Analyst at NatWest Securities, where he
followed the metals and mining industry. In addition, he worked for
three years at Philip Morris as a Manager of Financial Forecasting and
Analysis and for two years as a Staff Accountant. Mr. Weichselbaum
received his MBA from New York University.
ALAN WEINFELD is a senior analyst at Kaufman Bros. LP, in the security
and applications software sector. Prior to joining Kaufman Bros., he was
a managing director covering primarily security software at Fulcrum
Global Partners, a leading independent research firm which had a
significant presence in the enterprise software arena serving
institutional clients. He was a financial analyst in Goldman Sachs’
Global Investment Research Division and a member of Institutional
Investor magazine’s number two All-American research team. He also
worked in the research department of the technology venture capital firm
Tower Hill Capital Group. He graduated summa cum laude with a BBA in
Finance from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of
Massachusetts at Amherst.
ALAN SZYDLOWSKI is a Vice President, Equity Research Division at U.S.
Trust Company. He covers the education and restaurant industries,
advertising agencies and publishing. Mr. Szydlowski joined U.S. Trust in
1992 and ran the firm’s information center and market data operations
until 1998. He is a member of the New York Media Analysts Society. He
has a BA and MBA from Baruch College/City University of New York.
ALAN PAVESE is a Vice President of Equity Research at Credit Suisse
First Boston, covering the environmental services industry. He was
previously associated with Goldman Sachs & Co., Morgan Stanley Dean
Witter and General Electric Co. Mr. Pavese received a BS in Electrical
Engineering from the University of Buffalo and an MBA from Columbia
University Business School. He is single and in his leisure enjoys
traveling and politics.

industry. He has been a research analyst since 1995, covering

companies prior to that. Mr. Pavese has held equity analyst research

that, he worked for General Electric Co. Mr. Pavese holds an MBA from
Columbia University Business School and a BS in Electrical Engineering
from the University of Buffalo.
