RICHARD C. EASTMAN, CFA, a Managing Director at Robert W. Baird,
provides research to Baird’s industrial team, specializing in filtration
and process technology companies. Mr. Eastman has been a sell-side
analyst for 14 years, most recently as a Managing Director and the
Director of Research for Tucker Anthony Sutro. Mr. Eastman holds a BBA
in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an MBA from
the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
RICHARD B. SILVER is a Senior Vice President and Senior Research Analyst
at Lehman Brothers, where he is a member of the healthcare equity
research team. Mr. Silver focuses on specialty and niche
pharmaceuticals, drug delivery technology and generic drugs. Prior to
joining Lehman Brothers he was with Chase Manhattan Bank as a Credit
Analyst. Mr. Silver hold a BA from the University of Connecticut.
RICHARD A. HOLMAN is the Editor and Publisher of The Wall Street
Transcript, which he founded in 1963. In addition, he is the Editor and
Publisher of the Diplomatic World Bulletin, the Art/Antiques Investment
Report and Wall Street Reports. He received his A.B. degree from Cornell
University, his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Harvard Law School and his
LL.M. degree in Taxation from the Graduate Law School of New York
University.
Rehan Rashid joined Friedman, Billings, Ramsey Group, Inc., in September
1998 as a Vice President in the energy equity research group,
specializing in the oil and gas exploration and production (E&P) sector.
He has covered this sector for more than five years. Prior to joining
FBR & Co., he was an Associate Analyst at PaineWebber, covering the oil
and gas exploration sector. Prior to that, he spent two years at
Jefferies Inc. He received his BS in Accounting and his MBA in Finance
and Accounting from the University of Houston.
REBECCA F. RUNKLE is a Vice President with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.
Previously, she was associated with Smith Barney and Marietta Aerospace.
A candidate for the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, Ms. Runkle
holds a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities from the University of Colorado
and an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago.
RANDALL A. MEHL is a Director and Senior Analyst in the Equity Research
department at Robert W. Baird & Company. Mr. Mehl also is on the
investment board of Baird Venture Partners, the company’s venture fund.
He has been a featured speaker at numerous HR-related industry events
and has addressed executive teams at various companies in the sector.
Prior to joining Baird, Mr. Mehl was a Senior Consultant at Andersen
Consulting. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the AIMR
and the Milwaukee Analysts Society. Mr. Mehl holds an MBA, with honors,
from the University of Chicago and a BS from Bowling Green State
University. He enjoys various water sports, running, and spending time
with his three daughters.
RACHEL LEHENY, PhD, is a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers
covering Biotechnology. She was previously associated with Warburg
Dillon Read and Hambrecht & Quist. Prior to that Ms. Leheny was a
National Institutes of Health Fellow and a Lecturer in the Chemistry
Department at the University of California and also worked for Allen &
Company. She received an AB in Chemistry from Harvard College and a PhD
in Chemistry from Columbia University.
R. JAY TEJERA, Senior Vice President of Ragen MacKenzie, Inc.,
and Senior Regional Investment Manager of Wells Fargo Bank,
joined Ragen MacKenzie in 1999 as Director of Research and served
in that position until February 2003. Following the acquisition
of Ragen MacKenzie by Wells Fargo & Co., Mr. Tejera was named the
Senior Regional Investment Manager of Wells Fargo, Private Client
Services in February 2003. He began his career in investments as
an Analyst with Safeco Asset Management, Seattle, Washington.
Later he was affiliated with Dain Rauscher, Inc., for 12 years.
He attended the University of Southern California where he
received his BA in Economics and earned his MBA with a Finance
concentration at the University of Washington.
Previously, he was associated with the Georgia Tech Research Institute.
Mr. Allen earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from
the Georgia Institute of Technology as well as his M.S. in management.
A Chartered Financial Analyst, he is a member of the Atlanta Society of
Financial Analysts. Mr. Allen is married, with two children.
PRAKASH PARTHASARATHY is a Senior Equity Research Analyst for
Banc of America Securities. Formerly, he was a Senior Research
Analyst at Robertson Stephens & Co. in San Francisco, covering
international IT services companies. Mr. Parthasarathy started
his career at Peregrine and has a wide relationship with
international and technology sector money managers in the US,
Europe and Asia. He received a BE with honors from BITS, Pilani,
India, and his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management,
Bangalore, India.
