BRIAN S. POSTOL is Associate Vice President at A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Tulsa University and an MBA from Saint
Louis University.
BRIAN LANGENBERG has over 15 years of experience in equity research and
buyside management. Prior to founding Langenberg & Co., he was a senior
analyst with Wachovia Securities and Credit Suisse First Boston,
covering industrials and electrical equipment. He also held positions as
a buyside analyst at Continental Bank, an equity analyst at Howe Barnes
Investments, and a portfolio analyst at Feldman Investment Group. In
addition, Mr. Langenberg was a former Navy intelligence officer. He was
ranked number two in The Wall Street Journal’s 2001 ‘Best-on-the-Street’
survey for stock picking. He was recognized by Institutional Investor as
a runner-up on its 2000 ‘All-American Research Team’ and was the ‘Best
Up-and-Comer’ in 1999. Mr. Langenberg was also ranked number two in the
1999 Greenwich Associates’ equity research poll. He has a BA from Saint
Norbert College, an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management and
is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
BRIAN HARRIS is a Director at Salomon Smith Barney. Previously, he was
associated with Lehman Brothers, S.G. Warburg and American Airlines. He
received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Princeton and his
M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Chicago. Mr. Harris is a member
of the Association of Airline Analysts. He includes running, Texas hold
’em poker and tropical fish among his personal interests.
BRIAN EGGER is a Director in the Equity Research Department of Credit
Suisse First Boston covering the gaming and lodging industries. He
formerly covered these industries for Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette until
DLJ’s merger with CSFB in October 2000. A member of the 1999 and the
2000 Institutional Investor All-America Research Teams, he has also been
ranked for earnings estimate accuracy and stock picking in the Wall
Street Journal All-Star Analysts Survey and is a five-time Wall Street
Journal All-Star Analyst. Mr. Egger received a BS in Economics from the
University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and an MBA from the
University of Chicago.
BRIAN DUTTON is a Director at Bunting Warburg (Canadian Equity Research)
in Toronto where he is responsible for Canadian integrated oil
companies, Canadian E&P companies, and Canadian pipeline companies.
Previously, he was associated with Mobil Canada, Levesque Beaubien, and
Burns Fry. Mr. Dutton earned both his Bachelor’s degree in geology and
physical geography and his Master’s degree in sedimentary geology from
the University of Toronto.
BRIAN D. EGGER is a Director in the Equity Research Department of Credit
Suisse First Boston covering the gaming and lodging industries. Prior to
joining the firm, he was a Vice President in the Equity Research
Department of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette covering the gaming and
cruise lines sector. Mr. Egger received a BS in Economics from the
University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and an MBA from the
University of Chicago. Mr. Egger is a member of the 1999 and 2000
Institutional Investor All-America Research Teams.
BRENT C. WILLIAMS is a Senior Vice President, Equity Research Analyst,
with KeyBanc Capital Markets, a division of McDonald Investments. With
the company since January 2000, his research focuses on the software
industry, covering leading companies in the operating systems, data
management, middleware and business intelligence segments. Immediately
prior to joining KeyBanc Capital Markets, Mr. Williams spent three years
covering software companies at Needham & Company. He has been involved
with the software business since the late 1970s. He has built
innovative, groundbreaking products ranging from manufacturing and
financial applications to clinical medical software on a variety of
platforms from PCs to mainframes. For several years, he was an engineer
at Ingres Corporation, which was then the second largest developer of
relational database software. After several years of marketing
experience at Ingres and startups, Mr. Williams became an Industry
Analyst at IDC, leading the PC software research team when Microsoft was
introducing Windows NT, its initial enterprise operating system. He then
moved to Gartner Group, where he was a Senior Analyst in the software
development technologies group. Mr. Williams earned a Bachelor of Arts
degree from the University of California at Berkeley. He has also been
recognized by The Wall Street Journal’s ‘Best on the Street’ survey.
BRENDAN BARNICLE is Principal and Senior Research Analyst of Pacific
Crest Securities’ Enterprise Application Software Practice. His team
focuses on understanding the dynamics and key drivers of companies
providing enterprise applications, with a particular emphasis on
collaboration analytics and supply chain management. Prior to joining
Pacific Crest, he founded the Internet services company MyLackey.com,
where he served as Chairman and Chief Financial Officer. He also served
as Director of Business Development at eCharge Corporation, an Internet
payment solution. He was ranked in the top 10 of Institutional
Investor’s 2002 All-American Research Team in the applications software
sector. He also frequently appears on CNBC and is quoted in financial
and trade publications such as The Wall Street Journal and Business 2.0.
He graduated cum laude with a BA in Government from Harvard University
and a JD from University of Washington.
Brandon Dobell joined William Blair & Co. in 2007. He a Chicago-based Analyst and Co-Group Head specializing in the education and business services industries. Mr. Dobell was previously Group Head of global services research at Credit Suisse. He also worked in equity research at Bank of America Securities, where he covered business and education services companies. Mr. Dobell holds an MBA in finance from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business and B.A. in history and political science from the University of California, San Diego.James Maher is a Senior Analyst focused on education at ThinkEquity, which he joined in 2005 . Prior to joining ThinkEquity, Mr. Maher co-founded a quantitative marketing analysis consulting firm that served clients such as Charles Schwab & Co. and Wells Fargo Bank. He also worked in financial planning and analysis at Visa U.S.A., and he was a Corporate Controller at OffRoad Capital. Mr. Maher holds a B.S. with honors in computer science from Seton Hall University and earned an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
BRADLEY S. VANDER PLOEG is a Research Analyst at Robert W. Baird & Co.
in Chicago where he is responsible for overseeing coverage of commercial
banks, savings and loans, specialty finance companies and mortgage
finance REITs. Previously, he was associated with Merrill Lynch & Co.
Mr. Vander Ploeg received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the
University of Chicago at Urbana-Champaign.
