GREG GOULD is a Vice President at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the Investment
Research Department and is responsible for coverage of the computer
services sector. He received his Bachelor of Science degree at the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr. Gould includes running and
skiing among his personal interests.
GREG ALLISON is a Vice President, Equity Research at Alliance Capital
Management Corporation. Previously, he was associated with Gabelli &
Company, Inc., Yamaichi International, Dean Witter Reynolds, and
Prudential Bache Capital Funding. He received his Bachelor’s degree in
Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and his MBA in Finance
from Columbia Business School. Mr. Allison is married, has one child
and includes tennis, running, and biking among his personal interests.
ROY BURRY is a Beverage and Tobacco Analyst at Brown Brothers Harriman &
Co. and was previously associated with CIBC Oppenheimer. He earned his
Bachelor’s degree and his MBA from the University of Michigan. Mr. Burry
is married, has two children, and includes bridge, backgammon, and
classical music among his personal interests.
SKIP CARPENTER is a Vice President, Equity Research at Donaldson, Lufkin
& Jenrette.
GORDON CURRIE is a 22-year veteran of the petroleum and securities
industries. Prior to joining the research department of Canaccord
Capital in 1996, he was associated with several other investment
dealers. He began his career as a landman at Esso Resources Canada
Limited and became an analyst in 1983. He is a Calgary native who
studied archaeology and history at the University of Calgary, and then
earned his MBA from the Ivey School of Business Administration at the
University of Western Ontario in 1980. He also holds a Chartered
Financial Analyst professional designation and is a past President of
the Calgary Society of Financial Analysts. He currently serves as
Treasurer of the Alpine Club of Canada.
GLEN YEUNG, Director, joined Smith Barney in March 2000 from Deutsche
Banc Alex. Brown Inc. where he also covered the semiconductor equipment
group. Prior to working at Deutsche Banc, Mr. Yeung was an assistant
vice president with InSource Limited of Toronto, where he was
responsible for the equity indexed annuity franchise. Mr. Yeung placed
number three in the 2002 Institutional Investor All-America survey in
semiconductor equipment, after placing runner-up in 2001, and was the
up-and-comer in the 2000 Institutional Investor Survey. In 2001, Mr.
Yeung was ranked number one in semiconductor equipment and products in
the 2001 Reuters US Larger Company Survey. He is a graduate of the
Schulich School of Business, York University, in Toronto, Canada, with
an International Master’s degree in business administration, and holds a
BA degree with honors in economics from the University of Toronto,
Canada.
GLEN J. SANTANGELO is an Analyst at Salomon Smith Barney. He previously
followed the healthcare services sector at Goldman, Sachs and the
healthcare services, healthcare distribution, and deathcare sectors at
J.P. Morgan. He has also been associated with Arthur Andersen & Co. as a
CPA. Mr. Santangelo holds a BS in Accounting from Villanova University
and an MBA from New York University.
GIL ATZMON is a Gold Stock Analyst and leads the US Global Investors
portfolio team responsible for the management of the World Gold and Gold
Shares Funds. Mr. Atzmon, a former portfolio manager at US Global,
rejoined the Company after spending several years as a mining executive.
He also has extensive experience in the financing of junior mining
companies and mining projects. Mr. Atzmon received his Bachelor’s
degree in geology and geography from Columbia University and his
Master’s degree in energy and mineral resources from the University of
Texas at Austin. VICTOR FLORES is a Senior Analyst-Precious Metals at
HSBC Securities, Inc. Previously, he was associated with Marleau, Lemire
Securities, Inc. and U.S. Global Investors. He earned both his
Bachelor’s degree in geological sciences and his M.A. in energy and
mineral resources management from the University of Texas at Austin. A
Chartered Financial Analyst, Mr. Flores is a member of the AIMR and the
Society of Mining Engineers.
GERALD R. ODENING, Managing Director of JP Morgan Securities,
joined the firm via Hambrecht & Quist in 1999 to manage the
education industry research effort. Prior to H&Q, he managed the
education service industry research effort for Salomon Smith
Barney from 1994 to 1999, and has spent over 20 years in the
securities industry. He was ranked number two in the education
services category on the 1998 Institutional Investor All-America
Research Team. He received a BA from Occidental College. His
comments on the industry have appeared in such publications as
The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Wall Street Journal,
Fortune, Forbes, Financial Times and Investor’s Business Daily.
GERALD ODENING is a Managing Director of Jefferies & Company in equity
research for Knowledge Services. Prior to joining Jefferies in 2003, he
was a Managing Director at JP Morgan Securities, heading up the
education services research effort from 1999-2002. Between 1999 and
1999, Mr. Odening launched research on the emerging education industry
at Salomon Smith Barney, where he was a member of the Institutional
Investor All-America Research Team. He has been a securities analyst
for over two decades. Mr. Odening is a frequent conference speaker on
the business of education and has testified before a congressional panel
on Web-based education. He graduated from Occidental College with a
Bachelor’s degree in English. Married with three children, he enjoys
spending his free time with wines and planning his next trips to Italy
and Bermuda.
GEORGE KELLY is a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley where he covers
the data networking and telecommunications equipment industries.
Previously, he was associated with IBM, AT&T and A.G. Becker Paribas.
Mr. Kelly is an engineering graduate of the New Jersey Institute of
Technology.
