DAVID A. GARCIA is a Senior Vice President and Equity Research Analyst
with First Union Securities, Inc. Previously, he was associated with
EVEREN Securities, Principal Financial Securities, Howard, Weil,
Labouisse, Friedrichs, and Morgan Keegan. Mr. Garcia earned his
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and
an M.B.A. from Tulane University. A Chartered Financial Analyst, he is a
member of the Supply and Demand Committee and the Capital Markets
Committee of the IPAA.
Daniele M. Seitz is Vice President of Equity Research and Senior Analyst at Dudack Research Group, a division of Midwood Securities, Inc., where she covers the electric utilities and independent power producers Ms. Seitz has over 25 years of experience as a sell-side research analyst in the electric sector. For most of her career, she was the Senior Analyst responsible for the coverage of the electric utility industry at Smith Barney, now Citigroup, providing research on up to 75 stocks. At UBS Securities, in addition to the electrics, she also initiated coverage on a new sector, the independent power producers. Ms. Seitz was recognized as a top stock picker by The Wall Street Journal “All Star Team” and was twice voted one of the top industry analysts by Institutional Investor magazine. She joined Dudack Research Group after several years at Dahlman Rose, an investment boutique. A current member and former President of the Wall Street Utility Group, Ms. Seitz is often quoted in Bloomberg, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal for her views on the sector. She holds degrees in engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris and finance from Iona College.Hugh Wynne is a Senior Research Analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., LLC, where he covers the U.S. power industry. Before joining Bernstein in 2001, he was Vice President of Finance for ABB Energy Ventures, an independent power producer, and a member of the ABB Group, where he was responsible for financing the construction and acquisition of power generation and transmission projects in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Previously, Mr. Wynne was a Senior Vice President in Lehman Brothers’ investment banking department, where he advised independent power producers on the non-recourse financing of new generation projects, international utility companies on both debt and equity financing, and developing country governments on the privatization of state-owned telecom and energy companies. He graduated from Harvard College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and earned his master’s degree in economics from Stanford University.Maurice E. May is an Equity Analyst at Power Insights-Soleil. Mr. May has followed electric and gas utilities for three decades with the following firms: Alex. Brown & Sons, Ferris Baker Watts, Gardner & Preston Moss/INVESCO and Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Co. He founded Power Insights in March 2003 in association with Soleil Securities, focusing primarily on small- to mid-cap electric utility companies. Mr. May has a B.A. from the University of Maryland and is a member of the CFA Institute, the Providence Society of Financial Analysts and the CFA Society of Washington.
Daniel Thomas Fannon is a Senior Research Analyst at Jefferies & Company, Inc.
Prior to joining the firm in 2002, he was an Associate Analyst at Robertson
Stephens & Co. In 2007, he was awarded forth place in the Wall Street Journal
Best on the Street Analyst Survey for the consumer and specialty industry. He
was ranked number three estimator in the consumer finance and diversified
financial services industries by the Jefferies Captures Nine FT/StarMine Analyst
Awards in May 2008.
DANIEL T. MYERS is a Vice President and Senior Semiconductors Analyst
with Lehman Brothers. Previously, he was associated with BLSI Technology
and Morgan Stanley. Mr. Myers holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute and an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School at
Dartmouth College.
DANIEL T. LEMAITRE is a First Vice President with Merrill Lynch Global
Securities. A Chartered Financial Analyst, he received a Bachelor’s
degree in Economics from Bethany College and an MBA from Bowling Green
State University. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Mr. Lemaitre was
associated with Cowen & Company.
DANIEL ROLING is a First Vice President at Merrill Lynch. Previously, he
was affiliated with Waddell & Reed, Inc. A Chartered Financial Analyst
and a Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Roling earned his Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting from the University of Iowa and an MBA from the
University of Kansas. He is a member of the Institute of Certified
Public Accountants, the AIMR, the NYSSA, and the Nonferrous Metals
Analysts of New York. He also serves as a member of the National Coal
Council and was recently appointed to the Advisory Board of the College
of Business Administration at the University of Iowa.
DANIEL R. PICKERING is a Vice President at Simmons & Company
International, previously affiliated with Fidelity Investment and ARCO
Alaska. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri where he earned
his BS in Petroleum Engineering, and from the University of Chicago he
earned his MBA. He is a member of the SPE and the NAPIA. Mr. Pickering
is married and in his free time enjoys reading and basketball.
DANIEL KUNSTLER is a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan. He received a
degree in economics as well as a degree in musicology from the
University of Brussels, Belgium. Mr. Kunstler is married, has two
children, and includes music, contemporary literature, public affairs,
skiing, and biking among his personal interests.
DANIEL J. RENOUARD is the Senior Analyst covering data storage and
services at Robert W. Baird & Co. Prior to joining Baird in 1998, Mr.
Renouard spent four years at Continental Airlines, where he held a
variety of positions, most recently Director of Strategic Planning. He
received both a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA with a
concentration in Finance from the University of Notre Dame. Mr. Renouard
is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
DANIEL GOLDBERG is an Associate Director at Bear, Stearns & Co.
covering the brokers, asset managers and financial technology
industries. He joined Bear Stearns in January 2000 after six
years at Ernst &Young LLP, where he was an Audit Manager in the
Financial Services Group. He is a licensed Certified Public
Accountant and a graduate of The George Washington University
School of Business and Public Management where he earned a
Bachelor of Accountancy.
