J. COGAN is a Principal and Senior Research Analyst covering the gaming,
travel and leisure sector at Banc of America Securities LLC. He joined
Banc of America Securities in 1995 as a Research Assistant and was
promoted to Associate in 1996 and then to Analyst and Vice President in
1997. Before joining the firm, Mr. Cogan worked as a Legislative Aide
for Congressman Peter Stark of the US House of Representatives. Priot to
that, he was a freelance photographer and Founder of Cheap Shots. Mr.
Cogan earned his BA in Communications from the University of
Pennsylvania.
J. ARMAND MUSEY is a Director at Salomon Smith Barney. He was formerly a
Managing Director and Senior Research Analyst at Banc of America
Securities. He also worked as a Senior Analyst at C.E. Unterberg, Towbin
and as an Industry Analyst at Merrill Lynch covering satellite
companies. Mr. Musey received his BA in Sociology from the University of

IAN SANDERSON is a Managing Director of SG Cowen and is responsible for

companies. His prior experience includes investment banking at SG Cowen
and Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin; securities analysis at Cambridge
Associates and Putnam International Advisors; and systems design at U.S.
Surgical Corporation. He received a BA in Political Economy from
Williams College and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the
University of Pennsylvania.
IAN GILSON joined Granite Financial Group from Roth Capital Partners
LLC. His coverage includes data storage, display technology and related
semiconductors, and certain special situations. Mr. Gilson has extensive
experience as an analyst and portfolio manager on both the sell and buy
side of the securities industry. He has a PhD (Southampton University,
UK), MBA (University of Chicago majors in Finance and Industrial
Psychology) and a CFA.
IAN C. SANDERSON is a Managing Director at SG Cowen. A member of the
Healthcare/ Pharmaceutical Team, he covers emerging and mid cap
pharmaceutical companies including specialty pharmaceutical, drug
delivery and generic pharmaceutical companies. Prior to joining SG
Cowen, Mr. Sanderson was associated with Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin,
Cambridge Associates and Putnam International Advisors and U.S. Surgical
Corporation. He received a BA in Political Economy from Williams College
and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of
Pennsylvania.
HOWARD PENNEY, an Analyst with SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Capital
Markets, covers restaurants and small cap strategy. Prior to joining the
firm, he was with Wyper Capital, where he worked for the past year.
Prior to joining Wyper Capital, he was an Analyst at Morgan Stanley for
14 years, covering the restaurant industry. He also became the Small Cap
Strategist in conjunction with his duties as a Restaurant Analyst. In
2000, he received rankings in two sectors in the Institutional Investor
poll, both restaurants and small cap companies. In 1998, he was the
number one ranked Restaurant Analyst, according to Institutional
Investor. He holds a BA in Business Administration from Florida Southern
College.
HOWARD MASON is the specialty finance and bank analyst at Sanford C.
Bernstein & co. He joined the company in December 2000 after a 15-year
career as an investment banker involved in a variety of line roles
(including the structuring and risk management of credit and other
derivatives at Bankers Trust) and staff roles (including Chief Operating
Officer of the 600-person sales force for Deutsche Bank’s Global Markets
business). Mr. Mason holds an MA in Mathematics from Cambridge
University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
HOLDEN LEWIS is a Senior Vice President at BB&T Capital Markets Equity
Research and follows companies in the industrial equipment sector, both
manufacturing and distribution, with depth in the latter differentiating
his coverage and providing a unique perspective on the sector. H e
joined BB&T Capital Markets Equity Research in August 2002 and
previously followed the same sector at CIBC World Markets, where he was
a Director. Prior to that, he was Vice President at Dain Rauscher,
covering regional industrial manufacturing and services companies. He
spent two years as a technical analyst before moving into fundamental
research with PaineWebber in 1994. He received his undergraduate degree
in Business Management from the University of Vermont.
HERB ACHEY is a Senior Equity Analyst with the U.S. Trust Company of New
York. Previously, he was associated with Tradestreet Investment
Associates. A member of the Consumer Analysts Group of New York and the
NYSSA, he earned both his Bachelor’s degree and MBA from Moravian
College. Mr. Achey is married and has two children. A fan of the
Carolina Panthers, he enjoys coaching soccer in his free time.

Street Global Advisors’ (SsgA) Global Fundamental Strategies group,
covering the software, Internet services and electrical equipment and
instruments industries on a global basis. She was previously associated
with Fidelity Management & Research, Shawmut Bank (now a part of
FleetBoston) and E.F. Hutton, Inc. (now a part of Citigroup). Ms.
O’Loughlin received an AB in History with Honors from Mount Holyoke
College. She is a member of the Boston Analysts’ Society. A candidate
for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, she holds the
Series 7, 3, 63 and Life Insurance licenses.
