JAMES F. KISSANE is a Managing Director at Bear, Stearns & Company where
he follows corporate service stocks. Previously, he was associated with
Salomon Brothers. Mr. Kissane received his Bachelor’s degree in finance
from SUNY at Albany and his MBA in finance from New York University.
JAMES CORRIDORE is an Investment Officer at Standard & Poor’s Equity
Group, covering the airline, air cargo and logistics industries. Prior
to taking over coverage of the transportation industry in August 2001,
he served as a Senior Industry Analyst covering portions of the
technology industry. He joined Standard & Poor’s in 1988 as a
statistician in the Corporation Records department. Upon promotion to
Analyst in 1996, He garnered additional analytical experience, which
allowed him to be promoted again, in 1998, to Industry Analyst. In 2000,
he was promoted to Senior Industry Analyst and in 2002 he was made an
Investment Officer. He is a graduate of the State University of New York
at Albany, graduating magna cum laude in 1987.
JAMES COPLAND, associate, joined Goldman Sachs in April 1999. He works
in the Metals and Mining Group covering gold and gold mining companies.
Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Mr. Copland obtained industry experience
as an underground mine geologist in WMC Limited’s gold operations in
western Australia for two years before joining the legal profession in
1997. He worked at Clayton Utz, a commercial litigation firm,
specializing in mining-related cases. Mr. Copland received a BS in
geology and a Bachelor of Laws degree (honors) from the University of
Sydney.
JAMES C. GOSS is a Vice President and Senior Research Analyst with
Barrington Research Associates, Inc., and Barrington Asset Management,
Inc. He has more than 30 years of experience in the investment
industry, with the last two decades focused on the media and
entertainment industries. Prior to Barrington, Mr. Goss was with Duff &
Phelps and Nesbitt Burns Securities, where his coverage areas, prior to
taking on media and entertainment industry responsibilities in 1985,
included retailing, consumer finance, lodging, restaurants and oil
services. Mr. Goss is a two-time winner of The Wall Street Journal’s
‘Best on the Street’ analysts survey, once in Cable & Broadcasting and
once in Entertainment. He frequently appears in the media, including
The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Crain’s, USA TODAY, various
newspapers and trade publications, Wall Street Week with Fortune, CNBC
and CNN. Mr. Goss received his Bachelor of Arts degree with high honor
in Mathematics from Lewis University and his Master of Business
Administration degree in Finance and Accountancy from the University of
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also holds the Chartered Financial
Analyst designation and has been active in the CFA Institute and its
local affiliate, The Investment Analysts Society of Chicago, having
served as President of the Chicago Society.
JAMES BRADSHAW, Vice President, Senior Research Analyst, Financial
Services Team Leader, joined D.A. Davidson & Co. after seven years with
Pacific Crest Securities in Portland, where he headed the financial
services practice for the firm. Over that period, he provided research
coverage on bank and thrift stocks throughout the West. Prior to his
stint with Pacific Crest, he was a Commercial Bank Examiner with the
State of California Banking Department. He holds a Bachelor’s degree
from the University of Oregon and also earned an MBA in 1992 from the
University of Oregon.
JAMES B. BOYLE covers the radio, TV and outdoor industries for Wachovia
Capital Markets, LLC, equity research department, as Managing Director
and Senior Vice President. He is frequently quoted in industry trade
publications and by the national business press, in addition to the
business networks. He came to Wachovia (formerly First Union) from
Alex. Brown, where he had covered the cable TV industry and related
fields. Previously, he worked for 14 years in the cable and radio
industries at companies such as the Cabletelevision Advertising Bureau,
Financial News Network and Eastman Radio. In addition, his family has
owned radio stations and a cable system, enabling him to directly
participate in those operations, a rarity among contemporary Wall Street
media analysts. Mr. Boyle received a Master’s degree from Columbia
University (1980) and a Bachelor’s degree from Tufts University.
James Marsh jr. is a Managing Director and Senior Research Analyst at SG
Cowen. His research focus is radio and television broadcasting, outdoor
advertising and publishing. Previously, Mr. Marsh covered the
broadcasting and outdoor advertising sectors at Robertson Stephens and
Prudential Securities. He also covered satellite radio companies at
Robertson Stephens and publishing stocks at Prudential Securities and
UBS Securities. Prior to that, he worked at Kidder, Peabody & Co. in its
asset management division. In 2001, he ranked third in earnings
forecasting for publishing stocks in The Wall Street Journal’s ‘Best on
the Street’ analyst survey, and he ranked second in picking publishing
stocks in 2000. During 2000, he was also the third-ranked media and
entertainment analyst by corporations in Reuters’ U.S. Mid to Smaller
Company Survey. He holds an MBA in Finance and International Business
from New York University and a BSBA in Accounting from John Carroll
University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst as well as a Certified
Public Accountant.
JAMES ACKOR works as a financial services equity analyst for RBC Capital
Markets. He focuses on the thrift and mortgage finance industries and,
to a lesser extent, on community banking. He has worked for RBC Capital
markets for two years. Prior to joining RBC Capital markets, he worked
at Tucker Anthony for seven years.
JAIMI GOODFRIEND is a Research Analyst at First Analysis Securities
Corporation, focusing on environmental and infrastructure services. She
was previously associated with Montgomery Securities LLC where she
worked in mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Goodfriend received a BA with
honors in Economics and Political Science, both from the Honors College
at the University of Michigan. She is currently an MBA candidate at
Kellogg Graduate School of Management and is a level II candidate for
the CFA designation. Ms. Goodfriend is single and in her leisure enjoys
running, traveling, wine and tennis.
JACQUELINE REEVES, Managing Director of Ryan Beck & Co., has more than
12 years of analytical experience and has spent the majority of her
career following mid-cap regional banks across the United States. Prior
to joining Ryan Beck, she was Director of Research for Putnam Lovell NBF
Securities, Inc., and also served as Managing Director of Mid-Cap
Regional Commercial Banks. Prior to joining Putnam Lovell in 1999, she
served as a Vice President, covering regional banks with Salomon Smith
Barney and Janney Montgomery Scott. Earlier in her career, she served as
a junior analyst with CSFB and NM Rothschild. She received a BS degree
from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
J. KEITH DUNNE, a Managing Director at Robertson Stephens, founded the
firm’s electronic manufacturing products and services practice in 1996.
In 2001, PC FAB and ATOMIC29 recognized Mr. Dunne as an “ATOMIC Giant”
for being one of the 10 most influential people in the PCB industry in
2000. He is a frequent guest speaker at trade association meetings and a
regular author for leading electronics magazines. Mr. Dunne has nearly
20 years of experience in financial analysis. He earned an MBA from the
University of Southern California.
