LAWRENCE D. RAIMAN is a Managing Director at Credit Suisse First Boston.
He was previously associated with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette prior to
the recent merger. Prior to that Mr. Raiman worked for PaineWebber. He
received a BS in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University and
an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School. Mr. Raiman is a
Certified Public Accountant and a member of NAREIT, International
Council of Shopping Centers, Urban Land Institute, and various other
real estate trade organizations.
LAURI A. BRUNNER, Vice President, Equity Research Analyst, joined
the research department of Wessels, Arnold & Henderson,
predecessor to Dain Rauscher Wessels and RBC Capital Markets, in
1993. Ms. Brunner received a BA degree from Minnesota State
University and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, St.
Paul, Minnesota.
LAURENCE J. BLUMBERG is a Vice President, Equity Research at Alliance
Capital Management. Previously, he was associated with S2# Technology.
He earned his B.A. from Brandeis University, his M.D. from Temple
University and his M.B.A. from Columbia University. He also has post-
graduate training in general surgery and ENT. Dr. Blumberg is a member
of the American Medical Association and Director of Cambridge Heart,
Inc. He also holds a medical license in the state of Pennsylvania.
LAUREN A. SMITH is a Senior Vice President in the Research Department of
Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc., where she covers the securities brokerage
industry. Prior to joining KBW, Ms. Smith was a Vice President for
Putnam, Lovell, de Guardiola & Thornton, Inc., also covering the
securities brokerage industry. She has held the positions of Vice
President and Senior Analyst at Salomon Smith Barney and was a Vice
President and Analyst at Prudential Securities following two areas, the
securities brokerage and asset management industries. Ms. Smith has
covered the commercial bank sectors at both Dillon Read and CS First
Boston. She is a member of the team that commanded the Institutional
Investor All-America Research Best of the Boutiques poll for coverage of
the securities brokerage and asset management industries for the past
two years. Ms. Smith received a BA from Hobart & William Smith College
in Economics and an MBA in Finance from Fordham University.
LAURA A. CHAMPINE joined Morgan Keegan in February 2000 as an
Associate Analyst following telecom service providers. She was
formerly employed in the marketing department of Cadence Capital
Management in Boston for three years, and with Chase Asset
Management in New York for one year prior to that. Ms. Champine
received the CFA designation in 2001 and a Bachelor of Music
degree from The Boston Conservatory in 1996. She currently
follows the home furnishings and appliances industry for Morgan
Keegan.
LANNY BAKER is a Director with Salomon Smith Barney. Previously, he was
associated with Morgan Stanley and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. A
Chartered Financial Analyst, he is also a former Chairman of the Media
and Entertainment Analysts of New York. Mr. Baker holds a Bachelor’s
degree in History from Yale University. He is married and enjoys skiing
in his leisure.
LANA CHAN, Director, joined Advest at the end of 2002 as a senior
analyst covering the banking industry. She was previously with CIBC
World Markets for 10 years. Ms. Chan was part of a team recognized by
Institutional Investor as runner up for coverage of regional banks from
1994-1996. In addition, the CIBC World Markets small and mid-cap bank
research product has consistently been among the top rated by Greenwich
Associates. She holds a BS degree with a double major in Finance and
Information Systems from New York University. She is a member of the New
York Society of Security Analysts and the Bank Financial Analysts
Association of New York.
KRISHNA SHANKAR joined JMP Securities LLC in September 2002 and is a
Managing Director and Senior Analyst of Semiconductors. He has 20 years
of experience within the semiconductor industry, serving a wide variety
of roles, ranging from semiconductor engineering R&D, industry strategic
consulting and research, to Wall Street semiconductor research and
investment banking. Prior to starting at JMP, he was Principal of
Semiconductor Banking at Banc of America Securities from 2000 to 2002.
He also worked as a Managing Director of Semiconductor Banking at
Needham & Co. from 1998 to 2000. Prior experience includes serving as a
Senior Semiconductor analyst at DLJ Securities from 1994 to 1998 and at
Salomon Brothers from 1993 to 1994. He received a BS in Chemical
Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, India, an MS in
Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California, Los
Angeles, and an MS in Engineering Management from Stanford University.
KIT SPRING spent six years as an equity research analyst at Morgan
Stanley in New York covering media and wireless companies prior to
Stifel Nicolaus. In 2000, he led an analyst team voted number one
covering wireless communications towers in the Greenwich institutional
investor poll. He was also a member of a team consistently ranked number
one covering radio and TV broadcasting in the Institutional Investor and
Greenwich polls. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he was a junior analyst
covering communications and basic materials at Neuberger & Berman, a
money management firm in New York. He holds a BA in Economics from Union
College in Schenectady, New York, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
KIMBERLY GREENBERGER, Director and Senior Retail Analyst covering the
specialty apparel retailers, joined Smith Barney in July 2004. Prior to
joining Smith Barney, she spent nearly five years covering apparel
retailers at Lehman Brothers and Credit Suisse First Boston. Ms.
Greenberger has leveraged her industry experience successfully, having
worked for bebe stores, inc., and the Mervyn’s division of Target, Inc.,
to achieve second place in Greenwich Associates’ 2004 poll and third
place in the Institutional Investor All-America Research Team poll in
2004. Ms. Greenberger received a BS in Business Administration from the
University of Colorado and a Master in Business Administration degree
from Harvard Business School, both with honors. She is also a Chartered
Financial Analyst.
