NED ZACHAR is a Partner, and Director of Telecom Services in the
Research Department at Thomas Weisel Partners LLC, where he covers the
telecom services/cable/DBS segment. Before joining the firm, Mr. Zachar
was a Senior Managing Director and the Director of High-Yield and
Emerging Markets Research at NationsBanc Montgomery Securities, with
primary responsibility for covering the media and telecommunications
sectors. Mr. Zachar previously was associated with Bear, Stearns Inc.
and Duff & Phelps Inc. During his career, Mr. Zachar has followed the
wireless and wireline communications, domestic and international
cable/satellites, broadcasting, outdoor advertising, publishing and
leisure sectors. He was named an Institutional Investor ‘Fixed-Income
All-America Research Analyst’ in 1995 and in 1996. Mr. Zachar, who is a
member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts, received a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Iowa State University and a
Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola University of
Chicago.
Neal Dingmann has over 10 years of industry experience and currently is Senior
Vice President equity research for Wunderlich Securities. Prior to joining the
firm, he was a Director in Equity Research at Dahlman Rose where he covered over
40 companies in the oilfield services and exploration and production sectors. He
previously held similar positions at Pritchard Capital, RBC Capital Markets, and
Bank of America Securities, where he worked on the number one Institutional
Investor-ranked Oilfield Services research team. He has been recognized as a
“Home Run Hitter” by Institutional Investor magazine, is a frequent guest on
Bloomberg TV, and has a large network of industry contacts. He received his
Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Minnesota and
his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from the University of Arkansas.
NANCY MOYER is a Managing Director-Services Research for C.E.
Unterberg, Towbin. Previously, she was associated with Ladenberg
Thalman and Revlon. Ms. Moyer earned her Bachelor’s degree from Bryn
Mawr College, her M.A.T. from Manhattanville and her Master of Arts of
Liberal Sciences from The New School. Ms. Moyer is married, with three
children.
NANCY A. BUSH is a Managing Director at Ryan, Beck & Co., LLC. Prior to
joining Ryan, Beck & Co. Ms. Bush was briefly associated with Prudential
Securities, Inc., where she was a Senior Vice President and Major Bank
Analyst. She was previously with Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. and Dean
Witter. She started her career at Sentinel Advisors in Montpelier,
Vermont, where she advised portfolio managers on the selection of bank,
S&L and utility stocks and managed the common stock portion of the
Sentinel Balanced Fund. She is well-known for her First Call product and
is regularly quoted in the press. Ms. Bush earned a BS from Shorter
College, Rome, Georgia and was a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Naval
Reserve. A Chartered Financial Analyst, she is a member of the Bank and
Financial Analysts Association and is on the Board of Directors.
MOSHE KATRI is a Computer Services Research Analyst at SG Cowen. He
joined the company as the Lead Analyst in the computer services sector.
Mr. Katri was previously associated with Warburg Dillon Read LLC, CIBC
Oppenheimer. In the 1998 Reuters survey of portfolio managers and buy-
side analysts he was ranked the number two IT Services Analyst on Wall
Street following mid-to smaller cap companies. Prior to his career on
Wall Street, he served as a Military Intelligence Officer in the Israeli
Defense Forces. Mr. Katri received a BS in Finance and Information
Systems, and MBA in International Business from New York University.
MIKE MCMAHON, a Managing Director of Sandler O’Neill & Partners, LP,
joined the firm in 1998. He is responsible for covering West Coast banks
and thrifts, and mortgage finance companies on a national basis. Prior
to joining Sandler O’Neill, he was an Associate at UBS Securities in San
Francisco from 1996 to 1998, where he followed the mortgage finance
industry. From 1980 to 1996, he was with First Interstate Bank of
California where he was mainly focused on lending to the mortgage
finance industry. He earned his BA from the University of San Diego in
1980. He is a speaker at bank, thrift and mortgage banking conferences,
and is widely quoted in national business publications.
Mike I. Shafir is a Senior Research Analyst with Sterne Agee, focusing on
Northeast Banks & Thrifts. He joined the company in April 2006 after working as
an analyst at Moors & Cabot since 2004. He holds a BA degree in History from
Brandeis University and an MBA degree in Finance from Rutgers Business School.
MIKE CURRAN joined the Mining Equity Research Team with CIBC World
Markets as a Director in April 2003. He has worked in Equity Research
since mid-1994, working with CIBC World Markets, Merrill Lynch Canada,
and predecessor firm Midland Walwyn Capital. Mr. Curran’s past
experience includes several years as an Exploration Geologist, exploring
primarily for precious metals (gold and PGMs) in Canada (primarily
Ontario and British Columbia) in the mid-1980s-early 1990s. His
educational background includes completion of the CFA program (AIMR), an
MBA (finance) from Queen’s University (Kingston, Ontario), an MSc in
Mineral Exploration from the Royal School of Mines (UK), and a combined
Honors BSc in Geology and Chemistry from Carleton University (Ottawa,
Ontario).
MIKE ABRAMSKY is a Director and equity analyst at RBC Capital Markets
covering companies in the Canadian and US software and wireless
technology sectors. He was ranked number one in the 2005 Greenwich
survey, number two in software in the 2004 Brendan Wood survey, and is
recognized by investors for his insights on RIM, Open Text and Cognos.
He has over 20 years of experience in the information technology
industry in the US and Canada. He was formerly President of Rogers New
Media and General Manager of @Home Canada, and prior to that he was Vice
President of Products and Marketing at PC software maker Delrina Corp.
He also held senior positions at Interleaf Inc., Xerox Corp., Moore
Corporation, Baxter International and was also CEO of a venture-backed
e-commerce startup. He holds a BSc and MSc in Engineering from MIT and
an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
MICHELLE GIORDANO is a Vice President and Senior Life Insurance Analyst
with J.P. Morgan Securities, Inc. She joined the firm in 1988 and worked
on a variety of projects in Global Markets, Corporate Finance,
Investment Management and Private Banking. Ms. Giordano earned both a
Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting and an MBA from New York
University’s Stern School of Business. She serves as the Secretary of
the Association of Insurance and Financial Analysts.
