Pablo Perez-Fernandez has led the wireless research practice at Global Crown
Capital, LLC, since April 2007. He comes to Global Crown Capital from the G2
Group/Sagio Investments, where he was Director of Research and the head of Risk
Management. In addition, he acted as the co-CEO of Detto Technologies, a
software company controlled by the G2 Group. During his tenure as Detto’s co-
CEO, the firm completed three M&A transactions, completely changed its business
strategy and was awarded the largest contract in its history. Prior to the G2
Group/Sagio Investments, he was the Senior Wireless Analyst at the Stanford
Group and ThinkEquity Partners, where he developed a faithful institutional
following for his detailed, value-added research on the wireless industry. He
started his Wall Street career as an associate in the number one ranked telecom
equipment team at Sanford Bernstein. Prior to Bernstein, he was a Strategy
Consultant to Fortune 500 companies at the Mitchell Madison Group. He started
his professional career at the Raytheon Systems Company as a Senior Radar
Engineer working on internal research projects on space time adaptive processing
and advanced signal processing algorithms. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pure
Mathematics from Yale University and a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the
University of California in Los Angeles.
P.J. JUVEKAR is a Chemical Analyst at Salomon Smith Barney, covering the
environmental and Canadian oil and gas sectors. He previously worked as
a Project Engineer at Boise Cascade Corp. He received a BS in Chemical
Engineering from the University of Bombay, an MS in Chemical Engineering
from the University of Maine, and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon
University.
P. GORDON HODGE is a Research Analyst with Thomas Weisel Partners,
covering the media and entertainment industries. Previously, he was
associated with Montgomery Securities as a Senior Managing Director and
Senior Research Analyst, as well as with Dain Bosworth, Inc. as an
Associate in Corporate Finance. Mr. Hodge holds a Bachelor’s degree in
Business from the University of Washington and an MBA from the Graduate
School of Business at Stanford University.
OLIVIA GOLDEN is Vice President, Equity Research at Bear, Stearns &
Company covering the network infra-structure software industry,
concentrating her expertise in Internet Security. While at Bear,
Stearns, Ms. Golden co-authored the sector’s defining research
publication, Mission Critical: The Push into E-commerce Makes Security
Priority No. 1. Prior to joining Bear, Stearns, Ms. Golden worked as a
Research Analyst covering the beverage and tobacco industries at Brown
Brothers Harriman. Ms. Golden has also worked in the corporate finance
group at Martin Geller CPA where she focused on private placements,
mergers and acquisitions and financial analysis for technology-focused
clients. Ms. Golden graduated from Lehigh University with a BS in
Finance.
NITSAN HARGIL, Senior Technology Analyst at friedman, billings, ramsey
group, inc., and a chartered financial analyst, has more than 15 years
of experience in the technology and financial services industries.
Inside the technology industry, Mr. Hargil specialized in artificial
intelligence research, software quality assurance, and CAD/CAM software.
Later, in the financial services industry, he succeeded as a research
analyst at Lehman Brothers and Kaufman Bros, LP. As a result, Mr. Hargil
has become a well-known treasure in his field for successfully
integrating his deep understanding of security, storage and network
management software with his ability to provide credible, objective
research. Mr. Hargil has frequently appeared on CNN, CNNfn, CNBC,
Bloomberg TV, and other financial news shows to share his insight into
the technology companies on his coverage list. He has also been quoted
for his expertise in identifying and analyzing industry trends in
leading publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Investor’s
Business Daily, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Fortune and
BusinessWeek. Mr. Hargil is a member of the Association for Investment

NIRAJ GUPTA is a Director of Equity Research with Schroder & Company,
Inc. in the firm’s Global Communications Group, responsible for radio
and television broadcasting and cable programming companies. Previously,
he was associated with Goldman, Sachs & Company. Mr. Gupta holds a
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of
Michigan.
NIMAL VALLIPURAM follows the semiconductor industry for Dresdner
Kleinwort Wasserstein. Prior to joining the firm in August 1999, he was
with First Union Securities for one year and at Bear, Stearns & Co.,
Inc., for five years. He has been covering the semiconductor industry
since 1996. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Technology in Electrical
and Electronics Engineering from IIT, Delhi, India, and an MBA from
Northeastern University in Boston.
NICK PIRSOS is a Managing Director for Sandler O’Neill & Partners, LP.
Mr. Pirsos joined Sandler O’Neill in January 1999 and is Managing
Director of Insurance Equity Research. Prior to this, he was an
insurance equity analyst at Ryan, Beck & Co. During his 12 years of
experience, Mr. Pirsos has served in financial positions internal and
external to the insurance industry. At Everest Reinsurance he was
Manager of Financial Services, responsible for treasury and financial
analysis operations. At The Firemark Group, Mr. Pirsos was responsible
for insurance security selection of its insurance sector funds.
Previously, he was a senior insurance equity analyst at Ryan, Beck & Co.
Mr. Pirsos received his MBA from Pace University, studying Finance and
Portfolio Management, and is a graduate of New York University, having
majored in Finance and International Economics. He has been a
commentator on insurance stocks on CNBC, CNN and Bloomberg television as
well as other business news media. In 2002, he was ranked the leading
insurance analyst by the Wall Street Journal for stock performance,
covering the property-casualty industry.
NICHOLAS P. REDFIELD is a Senior Equity Analyst, The One Group of Mutual
Funds at Banc One Investment Advisors Corp. Prior to joining the firm,
he was an Equity Research Manager with First Chicago NBD Corporation. He
also worked as an Investment Analyst, US Area Interest Rate Risk
Manager, and Credit Analyst for The Dow Chemical Company, Treasury
Department. He holds a BS in Accounting and Economics from Albion
College and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of
Michigan Graduate School of Business Administration. He is a CFA Level
III candidate.
NEIL CURRIE is an Executive Director in the consumer group of UBS
Warburg Equity Research. An Analyst since 1990, Mr. Currie specializes
in food and drug retailers. Prior to 2000, he covered UK food and drug
retailers from UBS Warburg’s London office. In Institutional Investor’s
2000 All-Europe Research Team, Mr. Currie was ranked number two in food
and drug retailing. He also serves as UBS Warburg’s Global Coordinator
for retail research. Before joining UBS Warburg, Mr. Currie was an
Analyst at Credit Lyonnais Securities in London. Previously, he was with
Tesco, the UK’s largest supermarket operator, where he ultimately became
National Marketing Controller-Sales Promotions. Mr. Currie graduated
from Manchester Polytechnic with a BA degree in Economics.
