MICHAEL C. HAYNES was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of
GT Bicycles in July 1996. He previously served as Vice-President-Finance
and Chief Financial Officer from 1989 until he was appointed President
and Chief Executive Officer. He has been a member of the Company's Board
of Directors since 1993. Prior to joining the Company, he was a
certified public accountant and a partner in the certified public
accounting firm of Comoglio & Haynes for eight years. Mr. Haynes has an

Mr. Haynes: GT started in a garage in about 1974, '75. I'm not sure of
the exact year, by our co-founders,
