Michael C. Haynes

MICHAEL C. HAYNES was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of
GT Bicycles in July 1996. He previously served as Vice-President-Finance
and Chief Financial Officer from 1989 until he was appointed President
and Chief Executive Officer. He has been a member of the Company’s Board
of Directors since 1993. Prior to joining the Company, he was a
certified public accountant and a partner in the certified public
accounting firm of Comoglio & Haynes for eight years. Mr. Haynes has an
MBA from California State University, Fullerton.
