JESSICA M. BIBLIOWICZ is President & Chief Operating Officer of John A. Levin & Co. John A. Levin & Co. is a registered investment advisor with $8 billion in assets under management. Clients include U.S. and foreign individuals and their related trusts; non-profit organizations, limited partnerships, registered investment funds, university and college endowments; and pension and profit-sharing funds. John A. Levin & Co. is a subsidiary of Baker Fentress. Prior to joining John A. Levin & Co., Mrs. Bibliowicz was Executive Vice President and Head of Smith Barney Mutual Funds. The Smith Barney Mutual Fund family is comprised of more than 60 open-ended mutual funds with assets of over $76 billion under management. The Smith Barney Mutual Fund group is the ninth largest fund complex in the United States. Mrs. Bibliowicz spent eight years in the Asset Management Division of Shearson Lehman Brothers. She then spent two years as Director of Sales and Marketing for Prudential Mutual Funds. Mrs. Bibliowicz is a member of the Board of Trustees for Cornell University and also resides on the Cornell Investment Committee. Mrs. Bibliowicz is also on the Board of Trustees of the Governor's Committee On Scholastic Achievement. Mrs. Bibliowicz resides as a council member of New York Hospital Medical Center, is a member of the President's Council Of Cornell Women and on the board for the Cornell Advisory Council. Jessica has also been appointed to the Board of Trustees of Trudeau Institute, a leading research institute for Cancer. JAMES P. GORTER is Chairman of Baker, Fentress & Co. He was born December 10, 1929. A.B. (Economics), Princeton University - 1951 Summa Cum Laude; Woodrow Wilson Fellow London School of Economics - 1951-52. United States Naval Officer 1952-1955. Joined Goldman, Sachs & Co. 1956; became a General Partner in 1965. Served as a member of Goldman Sachs Management Committee from 1976 to 1988. Also served as Co-Head of the Investment Banking Division and Managing Partner of the Chicago office. Became a Limited Partner in 1988. TWST: Could you give our readers, if you would, a thumbnail sketch of

your company?

Mr. Gorter: We have been a closed-end since the early '70s. However, the

history of the firm goes back to
