Greg Steffens – Southern Missouri Bancorp Inc

GREG STEFFENS has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Southern Missouri Bank & Trust Co. since May, 1999, and President of Southern Missouri Bancorp since October 2000. He also serves as a director for both companies. Mr. Steffens began his career with Southern Missouri as the Chief Financial Officer in February 1998. Prior to joining Southern Missouri, he was employed as the Chief Financial Officer for Sho-Me Financial Corp, the parent holding company for First Savings Bank in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. As CFO, he was responsible for developing and implementing the plans for deploying the proceeds of that company's initial public offering , overseeing risk management and helping to set the strategic direction of the company. Mr. Steffens joined Southern Missouri after First Savings sold to Union Planters Bank in 1998. Prior to working at First Savings, Mr. Steffens worked as a bank examiner for the Office of Thrift Supervision from college graduation to December 1993. Profile
