David Nance – Introgen Therapeutics Inc (ingn)

DAVID G. NANCE is President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Introgen Therapeutics, Inc. Introgen, a leader in the development of biopharmaceutical products with an oncology focus, was founded by Mr. Nance in 1993. Prior to founding Introgen, Mr. Nance was Managing Partner of Texas Biomedical Development Partners, a healthcare investment and startup management firm. The partners of TBDP have been involved in the formation of numerous biomedical and technology companies including biologics, diagnostics, drug development and marketing, vaccines, fine chemicals, medical devices, nutrition, agri-biotech and veterinary medicine, robotic surgery, health care services, bioinformatics and genomics, gene therapies, software, applied materials, industrial manufacturing and information technologies. Mr. Nance has testified before the Joint U.S. Congressional Task Force on Science, Healthcare and the Economy, the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives and the NIH. He has also testified before the Texas Senate and Texas House of Representatives. In 1999, the David G. and Christy M. Nance Laboratory for Gene Therapy Research was established at M. D.
