JIM FOWLER joined Jolson Merchant Partners as Managing Director in
February 2001. He is a Senior Research Analyst covering the mortgage
finance and specialty finance sectors. Prior to joining JMP, he was a
Principal and Senior Research Analyst at Thomas Weisel Partners,
responsible for public stock coverage and private equity research in the
financial technology sector. He joined TWP after a five-year tenure at
Montgomery Securities. Prior to joining Montgomery, he was responsible
for managing mortgage investments and mortgage trading positions at
Oppenheimer and Co. and Ocwen Financial Corporation. He attended Montana
State University and California State University, and has degrees in
Economics and Finance.

Jerry H. Labowitz is a Managing Director in the Global Securities
Research and Economics Group at Merrill Lynch & Co. After an honorable
discharge in 1968 from the U.S. Army, where he served in Vietnam, he
spent the next four years at Portfolio Strategy Limited (a wholly owned
subsidiary of Alliance One Institutional Services), and then worked for
two Senior Analysts in the Electrical Equipment and Information
Processing Industries before joining Merrill Lynch with them in 1975. He
has been named a member of the Institutional Investor All-American
Research Team every year since 1980, 14 of which he was ranked number
one. Mr. Labowitz received a BA in Marketing from New York University
and is on the Dean’s Council at the NYU Gallatin School of
Individualized Study.
JENNIFER S. SCUTTI is an Executive Director and a Senior Financial
Services Analyst in the Equity Research department of CIBC World
Markets. Since joining CIBC World Markets in March 2001, she has
initiated coverage on a number of sectors within the specialty finance
niche, including the financial technology sector, the commercial finance
group, the credit card/diversified finance issuers and the mortgage
finance companies. She has been featured on CNNfn and is regularly
quoted in a variety of publications. In 2001, Ms. Scutti was recognized
for her earnings estimate accuracy by The Wall Street Journal’s ‘Best On
The Street’ analyst survey, after being named the top financial services
stock picker on Wall Street by the same survey in 2000. She was also
named one of the 25 best stock pickers in Wall Street according to
Bloomberg News and named as an earnings estimate sharpshooter by The
American Banker in 1996. Prior to joining CIBC World Markets, Ms. Scutti
was employed by Prudential Securities from 1994 to 2001 and Lehman
Brothers from 1991 to 1994. She began her Wall Street career in 1989 at
Brown Brothers Harriman. She has a BA from the University of Delaware
and received her MBA in Finance from Rutgers University. She is a member
of the Association of Investment Management Research.
JENNIFER M. CHAO is a Senior Analyst and Managing Director at RBC
Capital Markets. Prior to joining RBC Capital Markets, Ms. Chao was a
Senior Analyst at Leerink Swann & Co. Ms. Chao’s industry experience
includes research at the Columbia Neurological Institute and the Harvard
School of Public Health. Ms. Chao was also a research fellow at Harvard
Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital-Department of Medicine as
a Biomedical Research Career Award fellow. Ms. Chao received her BA
degree in Politics and Greek Classics at New York University and
completed a Post-Baccalaureate program in Health Sciences-Genetics at
Harvard University.
Jennifer Fritzsche is a Managing Director in the equity research department at
Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, where she focuses on the telecommunications
services sector. She started in telecom equity research in 1996 with EVEREN
Securities. At EVEREN, she was promoted to Senior Analyst after serving two
years as an Associate Analyst on the telecom research team. In 1999, She joined
the First Union/Wachovia research platform following First Union’s acquisition
of EVEREN. In 2000, she tied for second in the Best Up and Comers category in
Institutional Investor’s annual vote. She was ranked eighth (of 60 firms) in the
Reuters 2001 Survey of Fund Managers in the category of wireless telecom
services and was selected as the top wireless analyst by Starmine, a leading
provider of objective ratings of equity securities analysts. In 2004, she placed
sixth on the Top Ten Analyst list in the annual Forbes.com Wall Street’s Top
Analysts annual stock-picking survey. Also in 2004, she placed second among
wireless services analysts in The Wall Street Journal Best of the Street survey.
More recently, for 2006, Forbes magazine recognized Ms. Fritzsche and her team
as the number one stock picker in the wireless industry, and number two stock
picker for the wireline industry. She was also ranked number two overall on the
Top Ten Analyst list in the annual Forbes.com Wall Street’s Top Analysts annual
stock-picking survey for 2006. Within this survey, she was recognized as one of
the top 10 stock pickers from a universe of 4,500 sellside analysts across all
industry sectors. Most recently, in May 2007, she was recognized as the number
two wireless analyst for 2006 by The Wall Street Journal. She has a BA degree in
history from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, and an
MBA degree from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts where she
graduated summa cum laude.
JEFFREY W. CASDIN is a Chief Executive Officer, Principal at Cooper Hill
Partners, LLC, covering the biotechnology industry. He was previously
associated with Merrill Lynch and Oppenheimer & Company, Inc. He
received a ScB in Electrical Engineering, an AB degree from Brown
University and an MBA with High Distinction from Harvard University
Graduate School of Business where he was a Baker Scholar. Mr. Casdin is
a member of the Board of the National Genome Resource Center in Santa
Fe, New Mexico and he is also the Publisher of Biotech Investor, an
investment newsletter.
JEFFREY T. KESSLER is Senior Vice President and Senior Analyst at
Lehman Brothers. He is responsible for Lehman’s business services
research, and is the recognized Wall Street expert on security
companies. He is frequently quoted in business services and
security trade journals and financial publications such as The
Wall Street Journal. Mr. Kessler began his career in 1983 as a
securities analyst with Argus Research Corp. He moved to Cowen &
Co. in 1985, and joined Lehman Brothers in 1989. Mr. Kessler
earned his BA (1973) and MA (1978) in Economics/Political Science
at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. He also earned an MS in
Journalism (1975) from Columbia University.
