JOSEPH P. DOUGHERTY, a Vice President at Lehman Brothers, joined the
firm in April 2000 from UBS Warburg, where he was Senior Biotechnology
Analyst. He was at UBSW and its predecessor firms for three years. Prior
to coming to the Street, he was a scientist at Gilead Sciences in
antiviral and cardiovascular medicinal chemistry and drug development,
and at Genetics Institute in DNA-based diagnostics and bioorganic
chemistry. He has an AB in Chemistry from Harvard, a PhD in Bioorganic
Chemistry from Columbia, and is the author of numerous scientific papers
and several patents.
JOSEPH OSHA covers the semiconductor industry at Merrill Lynch
Global Securities, and has appeared in the industry’s closely
watched Institutional Investor survey for the past several years.
The Merrill Lynch Global Semiconductor team has been ranked #1 in
the same survey for the past two years. Ms. Osha has been with
Merrill Lynch in the US since 1997. From 1992 through 1997, he
was a technology analyst in Japan, and was top-ranked by
Institutional Investor in that role as well. He holds an MBA and
an MA Asian Area Studies degree, both from the University of
Michigan, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
JOSEPH MORFORD is an Associate Research Director and Senior Analyst at
First Security Van Kasper. Previously, he was associated with BT Alex.
Brown Inc. and Krefe Bruyette and Woods. Mr. Morford received his
Master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Andrews in
Scotland.
JOSEPH GRILLO is a Senior Analyst at Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown, covering
the Broad Lines Retail sector. He was previously associated with Levi
Strauss and Co. in merchandising and product management. Mr. Grillo
received a BA from the University of California-Berkeley and an MBA from
Georgetown University.
JOSEPH GREFF is a Manging Direcotr at Fulcrum Global Partners where he
covers the gaming and lodging industries. Before joining Fulcrum, he was
a sell-side analyst at ABN AMRO covering these industries. Prior to ABN
AMRO, he was an Associate Analyst at Prudential Securities as part of a
team covering gaming and lodging stocks. Prior to his career on Wall
Street, Mr. Greff worked at American International Group. He holds an
MBA in Finance from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of
Business and a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Muhlenberg College.
JOSEPH D. SAN PIETRO is a Vice President and Senior Aerospace and
Defense Analyst in the Equity Research division of Dresdner Kleinwort
Wasserstein. Prior to joining the firm, he was a member of the Aerospace
and Defense team at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. He began his career as a
Management Consultant at Monitor Company and later worked at A.T.
Kearney. Mr. San Pietro holds a BA in Comparative Political Change from
Boston University.
JOSEPH D. FRANCE, CFA, is an Analyst in the Credit Suisse First Boston
Equity Research Group, responsible for covering the health insurance and
managed care sector. He has followed the health care industry for 20
years, covering 15 of the largest publicly traded managed care
companies. Mr. France has a BS, Pharmacy and an MBA from the University
of Kansas, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He is a member of the
American Mathematical Society, the Association for Investment Management
and Research (AIMR) and the New York Society of Securities Analysts.
JOSEPH C. CRAIGEN, CFA, covers companies in the information security
and infrastructure management sectors for Needham & Company. Mr.
Craigen joined Needham & Company in March 2001 from Tucker Anthony,
where he worked in the areas of enterprise software, semiconductor
equipment and consulting. He previously played professional hockey with
the Peoria Rivermen and the Huntington Blizzard of the East Coast Hockey
League. Mr. Craigen earned his AB in Economics from Harvard University.
He is a member of AIMR and the Boston Security Analysts Society.
JOSEPH B. NADOL, Vice President of Equity Research at JP Morgan, joined
the firm in January 2001 as its aerospace and defense Equity Analyst.
Mr. Nadol was with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette from 1995 through 2000.
He received an AB in Government from Harvard University in 1995.
Institutional Investor named him the top ‘Next Generation’ aerospace and
defense Analyst in October 2000 and named him and his colleagues the
number two global aerospace/defense research team in December 2000.
