Barrett Blaschke is Director of Research and Senior Analyst, Midstream Energy of MUFG Securities. Barrett Blaschke is a senior analyst who has spent the past 13 years focused on the midstream energy space. He joined MUFG in 2014 to build a presence in his chosen sector on the company’s equity sales desk, before helping to start MUFG’s U.S. equity research platform. Before MUFG, Mr. Blaschke worked at RBC Capital Markets as a research associate and was later promoted to associate analyst. Early in 2011, he left RBC to work as a midstream MLP analyst at Kayne Anderson, where his focus was on gathering and processing and small- and mid-cap MLPs. In 2012, Mr. Blaschke returned to RBC Capital Markets, where he became part of the energy investment banking group, working with public and private midstream clients. Mr. Blaschke has an MBA degree from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington and Lee University.
Tristan Richardson is Vice President and Equity Research Analyst of SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. Tristan Richardson joined the firm in 2014 as Vice President covering the midstream/MLP sector. Previously, Mr. Richardson was a research analyst at D.A. Davidson & Co. in Portland, Oregon, covering energy infrastructure and oilfield services firms. Christopher McGratty, CFA, joined Keefe, Bruyette & Woods in 2004 and was named Head of U.S. Bank Research in 2020. Previously he led the firm’s SMID-cap bank research team. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Financial Controller at Morgan Stanley from 2002 to 2004. Mr. McGratty is regularly quoted in industry publications, including The Wall Street Journal, American Banker, Barron’s and The New York Times, and is often featured as a recurring guest on CNBC and Bloomberg TV. He received his B.S. degree from Villanova University in 2002, and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation as well.
Damon DelMonte, Director, joined Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc.’s Hartford office in 2003 and is currently responsible for equity research coverage of regional banks primarily in the Midwest region of the United States, but also for a handful of banks in the Northeast. During his first decade at KBW, Mr. DelMonte’s coverage was primary focused on Northeast banks; however, after Stifel Financial’s acquisition of KBW in 2013 his coverage shifted to covering mainly banks in the Midwest. Prior to joining KBW, Mr. DelMonte was an Investment Analyst at The Hartford Investment Management Company where he assisted in the management and analysis of both investment portfolios and direct hedge fund investments. John P. Herrlin Jr. is the Head of Oil and Gas Equity Research and Equity Analyst at Societe Generale. He covers integrated oil and E&P companies within the Americas region. Mr. Herrlin joined the firm from AlphaOne Capital Partners, LLC in 2010. Prior to that, he spent 14 years at BofA Merrill Lynch Research Division as an Analyst, where he followed U.S. and Canadian E&P companies, and since 2004, United States integrated energy companies. Mr. Herrlin also followed the E&P sector at Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. Research Division and before that Smith Barney. He was Institutional Investor’s top-ranked Oil and Gas Analyst for six years while at BofA Merrill Lynch Research, and was rated since 1994 in the exploration and production category. Mr. Herrlin has an MBA in finance and energy management from the University of Denver, conducted graduate studies in geology from the University of Montana and Colorado School of Mines, and received an undergraduate degree in geology from the University of Montana.
Amir Arif is an Oil & Gas Analyst in Cormark Securities Inc.’s Institutional Equity Research division. He joined the firm in 2014. Mr. Arif’s career includes previous investment experience with Stifel, Friedman Billings Ramsey, and Waterous Securities, as well as previous engineering experience with Fletcher Challenge, Koch Exploration and Norcen Energy. He received his B.S. in petroleum engineering with distinction from the University of Alberta in 1994 and his MBA in finance from the University of Calgary in 1999. Noah Barrett, CFA, is a Research Analyst at Janus Henderson Investors and lead on the firm’s Energy & Utilities Sector Research team. He was vice president with Institutional Capital LLC specializing in analysis and stock recommendations for the energy and transportation sectors. He received a degree in economics from Boston College. He also received an MBA with concentrations in finance, accounting, and economics from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. He also completed the General Course at the London School of Economics.
Richard X. Bove is a Senior Analyst within the research division of Vertical Group. Mr. Bove entered the securities industry at the end of 1965.
