Mark Braman – Omegatech Inc

Robert M. Di Scipio is Vice President of Corporate Development, Secretary and General Counsel at OmegaTech, Inc. He earned a JD degree from Pace University School of Law; BA, University of Michigan In addition to managing corporate and legal affairs and public relations, Mr. Di Scipio is also responsible for the company's Asian-Pacific operations. Mr. Di Scipio has initiated commercial activity in Japan, China, Australia and established a sales/distribution network throughout much of the Pacific Rim. Before joining OmegaTech, Mr. Di Scipio was the Managing Partner of the Connecticut law firm, Hawthorne Ackerly & Dorrance, where he practiced in the areas of taxation and corporate law. Mark A. Braman, is President and CEO of OmegaTech, Inc. Mr. Braman brings over 20 years of experience in the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries to his position of leadership at OmegaTech. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Braman held multiple positions at Cultor Food Science, where he was Executive Vice President, President of the Fine Ingredients Division and Chairman of Cultor China, LTD. From 1984 to 1996 he held a number of positions at Pfizer Inc. Food Science Group. At the time of Pfizer's divestment of their Food Ingredients business to Cultor, Mr. Braman held the position of Vice President of Business Development. Since joining OmegaTech in mid-1997, Mr. Braman has led OmegaTech in raising over $50 million to drive its business strategies, including a $22.5 million private placement round completed in May 2000. Mr. Braman has built the company from seven employees to an international team of over 70 professionals, orchestrated the national roll-out of the Gold Circle Farms(r) brand and expanded OmegaTech's existing bioactive lipid R&D pipeline with state-of-the-art research facilities in both the US and Germany. He has expanded the company's ingredients business into all nutritional product areas including functional foods, infant and early childhood nutrition products, pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements and animal health products.
