THOMAS F. CHERRY is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of
C&F Financial Corporation. He joined the company in December 1996. Prior
to joining C&F, he was a manager at Price Waterhouse in Norfolk,
Virginia. Mr. Cherry received his Bachelor's degree in Business
Administration from Old Dominion University and his Master's in Business
Administration from the College of William and Mary. Mr. Cherry has been

LARRY G. DILLON is President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of
the Board of C&F Financial Corporation. He joined the company in August
1977. Prior to joining C&F, Mr. Dillon was a Bank Examiner with the
Virginia Bureau of Financial Institutions. He received his Bachelor's
Degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia and his Master's in
Business Administration from the College of William and Mary. He has
