FREDERICK ROSE is President and Chief Executive Officer of Clare
Rose Inc., Mr. Rose heads an extremely successful family business
founded by his parents 67 years ago. Clare Rose Inc. is one of
the largest wholesalers for Anheuser-Busch brands, as well as a
complete line of imported beers. Their territory encompasses all
of Suffolk and Nassau County, with an additional distributorship
in Staten Island. Born in Patchogue and educated in the Bayport-
Blue Point School District, he has worked in the family business
since he was a youngster. After returning from a tour of duty in
the U.S. Army he joined Clare Rose Inc. as a salesman. For the
next 13 years, he worked his way through every phase of the
business from warehousing and operations to marketing and
administration. In 1980, the Board of Clare Rose Inc. appointed
him to his present position as President and CEO. Due to our
sales in all three distributorships, Clare Rose Inc. ranks in the
upper 25% of all Anheuser-Busch distributors in the country. In
addition to owning Clare Rose, Inc., and Clare Rose of Staten
Island, he owns three boat marinas, two in Patchogue the other in
Center Moriches, New York plus a driving range/miniature golf
course in Selden, New York. Mr. Rose also has ownership in Energy
Tactics, a company that extracts methane gas from landfills and
