William C. Gray

WILLIAM C. GRAY has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial
Officer of Carver Bancorp since January 2001. Prior to that, Mr. Gray
served as Dime Savings Bank of New York’s Vice President/Director of
Business Unit Planning and Support in the Corporate Controller’s
Department. At Dime, Mr. Gray was responsible for identifying and
evaluating strategic initiatives for the Consumer Financial Services,
Business Banking, Commercial Real Estate and Consumer Lending
businesses. He managed all aspects of budgeting, reporting, financial
planning and control, and accounting for these businesses and was
responsible for developing and presenting financial and operational
performance reports. Previously, he served as Vice President/Director of
Financial and Management Information Systems for Dime’s Consumer
Financial Services Division. He began his tenure at Dime as Vice
President/Corporate Profitability Manager in the Corporate Controller’s
Department. Before joining Dime, Mr. Gray was Chief Financial Officer,
Treasurer and a Director of State Savings, F.A. of Great Neck, NY from
1989 until 1992. Mr. Gray began his career in 1975 at Richmond Hill
Savings Bank of Floral Park, NY where he served in a number of financial
and marketing capacities and rose to Vice President and Controller. He
earned a BA in Accounting at Adelphi University in 1986.
