Robert H. Nazarian

ROBERT H. NAZARIAN was named Executive Vice President, Chief Financial
Officer and Treasurer, Florida East Coast Industries, Inc. (FECI), on
July 27, 1999. Previously, Mr. Nazarian was Treasurer of Northwest
Airlines, Inc., after serving as Chief Financial Officer of Air New
Zealand Ltd. and Group Financial Controller of Lion Nathan Australia
Ltd. Mr. Nazarian began his career at KPMG in Boston and served in a
variety of financial positions throughout the world for Pepsi-Co, Inc.
In previous positions, he had responsibility for capital markets and
banking activities, investor relations, information systems, and
corporate development activities as well as for the full range of
control functions. At FECI, Mr. Nazarian’s duties will include
responsibility for those activities as well as hands-on financial
involvement with FECI’s new Orlando-based telecommunications subsidiary,
FEC Telecom, Inc. Mr. Nazarian earned his Master’s degree from the
Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, his Bachelor’s
degree in Economics (Magna Cum Laude) from New York University and is a
Certified Public Accountant.
