Matthew Rizai

MATTHEW RIZAI is President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of
Engineering Animation, Inc. (EAI). EAI is the leading producer of
enterprise-wide visual process management, collaboration and
communication solutions. Mr. Rizai joined EAI in 1990 from ARCH
Development Corp., a venture capital firm in Chicago. Before that, he
was a senior research engineer with General Motors Corp. Prior to GM,
Mr. Rizai was Vice President of a computer-aided design software company
and served as a development engineer for Ford Motor Co. He earned a
Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University and a
Master’s of Business Administration at the University of Chicago. Under
Mr. Rizai’s leadership, EAI has grown from a small startup to a company
with annual revenues in the range of $100 million and over 900
employees. Mr. Rizai was named one of the seven top entrepreneurs by
Business Week magazine for 1997 and the Des Moines Register’s Business
Leader of the Year.
