THOMAS C. MEYER, President and Chief Executive Officer, became CEO of
Corsair in June 1999. He originally joined the company as Vice President
of Operations in April 1996 and was subsequently promoted to President
and COO in February 1999. Mr. Meyer has an excellent understanding of
not only the strategic relationships and partnerships between vendors
and carriers, but also of the operating requirements of a high-tech
company. His leadership and organizational abilities have been key to
Corsair's growth as a global business. Prior to joining Corsair, Mr.
Meyer served as Senior Vice President of Operations at Blyth Software, a
company specializing in application development tools for the
client/server market. Previously he served as Vice President and General
Manager for Pyramid Technology's Customer Services Division in San Jose.
These positions and other technical and management positions at Tandem
Computers, Tolerant Systems, and IBM have aided him in gaining a very
well-rounded perspective. He holds a BS degree in Computer Science from
the University of Bridgeport. Profile
MARTIN J. SILVER, Chief Financial Officer, oversees finance and
investment operations at Corsair, where he managed the $40-million
initial public offering in 1997. He most recently served as CFO and
Treasurer at Superconductivity, Inc., where he participated in the
acquisition of the company to American Superconductor Corporation.
Prior to Corsair, Mr. Silver served as CFO and Corporate Secretary at
Credence Systems Corporation, where he managed the $13.2-million
acquisition of Tektronix's Semiconductor Test Systems Division, as well
as the $3.4-million technology acquisition of ASIX Systems Corporation.
During his tenure at Credence, the company's revenue grew from $16.9
million to $63.5 million. He has also served in executive and product
management positions at Investments Orange Nassau, Inc. and Hewlett-
Packard Company. Mr. Silver holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a
BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. Profile
