Martin J. Silver

MARTIN J. SILVER, Chief Financial Officer, oversees finance and
investment operations at Corsair, where he managed the $40-million
initial public offering in 1997. He most recently served as CFO and
Treasurer at Superconductivity, Inc., where he participated in the
acquisition of the company to American Superconductor Corporation.
Prior to Corsair, Mr. Silver served as CFO and Corporate Secretary at
Credence Systems Corporation, where he managed the $13.2-million
acquisition of Tektronix’s Semiconductor Test Systems Division, as well
as the $3.4-million technology acquisition of ASIX Systems Corporation.
During his tenure at Credence, the company’s revenue grew from $16.9
million to $63.5 million. He has also served in executive and product
management positions at Investments Orange Nassau, Inc. and Hewlett-
Packard Company. Mr. Silver holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a
BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
