RONALD D. HUNTER is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Standard
Management Corporation, a publicly traded holding company with interests
in the financial services and health services industries. Mr. Hunter is
a dedicated leader who offers inspirational leadership in work and in
life. He has led the company he founded in 1989 to record growth.

He is President of the Association of Indiana Life Insurance Companies,
