David Dyer – Lands End Inc (le)

DAVID F. DYER is President and Chief Executive Officer of Lands' End, Inc., headquartered in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, and is a member of the company's Board of Directors. Additionally, he serves as a Director for ADVO, Inc., the nation's largest targeted direct mail marketing company. Mr. Dyer holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University. Mr. Dyer returned to Lands' End in October 1998. He originally joined the company in July 1989 as Managing Director of the company's Coming Home catalogue. He was made head of merchandising in June 1990 and named Vice Chairman of Merchandising in February 1992. In January 1993, Mr. Dyer was promoted to Vice Chairman of Merchandising and Sales. He remained in that position until he left Lands' End in August 1994 to join the Home Shopping Network and serve as its President and Chief Operating Officer. From November 1997, Mr. Dyer was a catalogue/retail consultant working with Texas Pacific Group in San Francisco and the J. Crew Group in New York.
