Throop, Mary
Mary Throop is a Partner of Summerhill Capital Management. Prior to Summerhill Capital, she was a Senior Partner at Laketon Investment Management, where as part of the Global Equities Team she was responsible for investing global portfolios totaling over $2 billion. Ms. Throop attained her strong background in financial analysis and portfolio management while at CIBC World Markets as Managing Director of the international equities group. She has been a Chartered Financial Analyst since 1992, has an honors B.A. from the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain and is fluent in Spanish. Ms. Throop is an active member of the CFA Institute and the Toronto CFA Society. She also sat on the board of the Toronto CFA Society for three years as Chair of the Corporate Governance Committee, Membership Committee and the International Programme. Profile
Elliott, Kevin
Kevin Elliott is a Partner of Summerhill Capital Management. He began his extensive career at CN Investments, then went on to become Chief Investment Officer and Director of Equities at Laketon Investment Management, where he established a highly regarded performance record managing multibillion dollar institutional portfolios. Mr. Elliott then joined Fidelity Investments as a Global Equity Portfolio Manager, managing several billion dollars in client funds. Following Fidelity, he became a Partner at Summerhill Capital Management, where he believed investing for high net worth clients offered him the best alignment with how he likes to invest for himself and his family. Mr. Elliott has been a Chartered Financial Analyst since 1986, and has an MBA from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University.
