YOUNG SHIN provides leadership and vision as CEO of SNAP Technologies.
Prior to founding the company, Mr. Shin was the director of information
technology for Mecon, a healthcare information services company. Before
this, he directed the application architecture practice at Seer
Technologies' Consulting division, a joint venture between IBM and
Credit Suisse/First Boston. Mr. Shin established strategic application
architecture standards at more than twenty Global 1000 companies
including Charles Schwab, Norwest, Lloyds of London, Generali Assurance,
Banco Comerciale Italiano, Den Danske Bank, and IBM Japan. Young also
assisted on developing numerous mission-critical business applications
at many of his clients. Before Seer, Mr. Shin was an associate at the
Information Technology division of Morgan Stanley. He graduated from
Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Sloan School of Management
with dual degrees in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and
