Yook Mah – Benson Petroleum Ltd (ben.to)

YOOK L. MAH joined Benson Petroleum Ltd. in 1993 and in September, 1996, became President and Chief Executive Officer. He has a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering with distinction from the University of Calgary. Upon graduation, he joined Amoco Canada Petroleum Ltd., leaving the company in 1976 in the capacity as Senior Operations Engineer. For the next two years, Mr. Mah consulted with an engineering firm performing property and corporate evaluations for various oil and gas companies. In 1978 he joined Norwich Resources Canada Ltd. as Chief Engineer, moving to the position of Vice President, Operations (1984-1988), spending two years in the company's Denver, Colorado officer as Manager of Engineering and promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer (1988-1993).
