Wynford Dore – Goal Plc (goa.l)

WYNFORD DORE is the Chairman of GOAL Plc. He began his career in 1967 as a computer systems analyst at Jaguar Cars. In 1973, he established Nullifire Limited which pioneered fire protection coatings and became the dominant supplier of thin film intumescent coatings worldwide. The company was sold in 1998 to RPM Inc. In 1999, together with his cousin Gareth Newman, Wynford Dore was responsible for identifying the market opportunity for GOAL and conceiving the product. In addition, from 1983 to 1994 he was Chairman of the governors of Abbotsford School, Kenilworth and is a shareholder and Chairman of Newman Schools Limited which operates a preparatory school for 340 pupils in Leamington Spa.
