WILLIAM J. WAGNER, Chairman, President & CEO of Northwest Bancorp, Inc.,
joined Northwest Savings Bank in Warren, Pennsylvania, in 1984 as Chief
Financial Officer. He became Chief Operating Officer in 1995 and
President in 1998. He was named President of Northwest Bancorp, Inc. in
2000 and Chairman of the Board in July 2003. Northwest Bancorp, Inc., is
currently the fifth largest depository institution domiciled in the
state of Pennsylvania. Mr. Wagner was employed from 1975 to 1979 at KPMG
LLP in Pittsburgh as an Assistant Staff and Senior Accountant in the
Auditing Division. He worked as a Business Manager of the St. Marys Area
School District from 1979 to 1980. He was employed from 1980 to 1984
with Fidelity Savings Association in Pittsburgh as Chief Financial
Officer. Mr. Wagner is a Graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania
in 1975 with a BS in Business Management and a concentration in
