William L. Paternotte – Alex. Brown & Sons

WILLIAM L. PATERNOTTE has been the Chairman of the Investment Committee of Alex. Brown & Sons Incorporated since 1994 and an employee since 1969. As chairman he is responsible for creating and marketing Alex. Brown's FOCUS List of recommended stocks and for developing "thematic" investment ideas that draw upon and leverage the company-and industry- specific research conducted by the Firm's analysts. After earning an A.B. in English from Princeton University in 1967, Mr. Paternotte attended Wharton School of Finance where he graduated in the top 5 percent of his class with an M.B.A. in Finance. Former President of the Bryn Mawr School, he is on the Board of Trustees for the Gilman School, and for the Walters Art Gallery. Mr. Paternotte is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Profile
