WILLIAM J. ARMANINO has been President, Chief Executive Officer and
Chairman of the Board of Armanino Foods of Distinction since February
1988. He served in these capacities for the company's wholly owned
subsidiary from January 1987, until it was merged in the company in
December 1990. In April 1990, Mr. Armanino was elected to be Chairman of
the Board of Directors of Armanino Foods of Distinction. From August
1990 to June 1998, Mr. Armanino also served as Treasurer of the company.
He was also Chief Financial Officer of the company from September 1989
until March 2000. Since May 1995, he has also served as President, and
since March 1996 he has also served as Chief Financial Officer of AFDI,
Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. From May 1996 to
December 1997, until it was merged into the company, Mr. Armanino also
served as President and Chief Financial Officer of Alborough, Inc.,
d/b/a Emilia Romagna. In 1957, he and his father founded G. Armanino &
Sons, Inc., and its principal subsidiary, Armanino Farms of California.
In December 1986, most of this business was sold to and became a
subsidiary of McCormick & Company, which is publicly held, but Mr.
Armanino remained as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of that
subsidiary of McCormick & Company until December 1989. Profile
EDMOND J. PERA has been Secretary, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer
of Armanino Foods since March 2000 and a Director since August 2000.
Since 1991, Mr. Pera has been the sole owner of Pera Management
Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in startups, restructuring
and reorganization, finances, etc. From 1999 to February 2000, Mr. Pera
was a consultant to the company in the area of finance and shareholder
relations. From 1982 to 1991, Mr. Pera was President and CEO of Advanced
Communications. From 1967 to 1982, Mr. Pera was employed by Levi Strauss
& Company. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from
Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California, in 1962. Profile

Originally, we were Armanino Farms producing herbs and so
