WILLIAM E. ANDREW is President of Penn West Petroleum Ltd. Prior to
joining Penn West Mr. Andrew was Vice President, Operations &
Engineering, Opinac Exploration Limited, from September 1987-June 1992.
He was Senior Reservoir Engineer to Manager, Production with Ocelot
Industries Ltd., from July 1981-August 1987. Mr. Andrew was Senior
Engineer with Canadian Occidental Petroleum Ltd., from August 1977-June
1981.He was a Petrophysical Engineer with Shell Canada Limited, from
September 1976-July 1977. He was a Reservoir Engineer with Gulf Canada
Resources Limited, from May 1975-September 1976. Mr. Andrew graduated
from the Technical University of Nova Scotia in 1975 with a Bachelor of
