WILL HERMAN is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of
Innoveda, Inc. A leading provider of software and services for the
design and building of advanced electronic products, Innoveda was formed
in 2000 by the merger of Viewlogic Systems, Inc., and Summit Design,
Inc. Subsequently, Innoveda acquired PADS Software, Inc., rounding out
its broad portfolio of solutions that can help customers enhance their
productivity in system-level design, board design, and electromechanical
design. Mr. Herman is also a Director of the Electronic Design
Automation Consortium (EDAC), an international association of more than
100 companies engaged in the development, manufacture and sale of design
tools and services to the electronic engineering community. Previously,
as a Founder of Viewlogic, Mr. Herman served in capacities ranging from
Vice President of Engineering to President and CEO. In addition, he was
President of Scopus Technology, Inc., a database applications company,
and President and CEO of Silerity, Inc., a computer-aided engineering
software company. Prior to establishing Viewlogic in 1984, Mr. Herman
ran the Advanced CAD Development section of the Semiconductor
Engineering Group for Digital Equipment Corporation. He holds a Bachelor
of Science degree in Computer Science from Temple University,
