W.joseph Brookman – Microlog Corporation (mlog)

W. JOSEPH BROOKMAN has served as President and CEO of Microlog Corporation since March 21, 2003 and has served on the Board of Directors since 2001. Mr. Brookman brings more than 20 years of business experience in enterprise software and telecommunications, where he has delivered packaged software products through direct and indirect sales channels. He has built organizations, partners and alliance programs to execute on aggressive growth strategies. Prior to Microlog, Mr. Brookman held positions in Senior Marketing, Alliance and Business Development roles with Hewlett-Packard's (HP) Enterprise Systems division working with major software and systems OEMs, systems integrators and resellers. At Novell Mr. Brookman managed a $125 million operation, including business planning and strategic OEM relationships for the UNIX and Tuxedo Divisions, where he was also instrumental in the UNIX Systems sale to SCO and Hewlett-Packard. At UNIX Systems Laboratories (USL) (acquired by Novell), Mr. Brookman managed the strategic direction of operating systems products as well OEM relationships, where he restructured the product, operations, and offerings and sold $10 million in 12 months allowing USL to be cash flow positive, which was key to the acquisition by Novell. Additionally, Mr. Brookman has held various management and technical positions within AT&T and Bell Laboratories. Mr. Brookman holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Virginia Tech and a Master's degree from Stanford University in Operations Research. Profile
