VIC MAHADEVAN is President and CEO of MaXXan Systems, Inc. He is
a leader in the technology industry with more than 22 years of
experience. Prior to joining MaXXan, he was the co-Founder and
CEO of iVita Corp., an enterprise asset management software
company. Before iVita, he served at BMC as the Vice President and
General Manager of the Enterprise Storage and Application
Recovery Division, a $350 million business. Previously, Mr.
Mahadevan was Vice President and Divisional General Manager of
the Enterprise Storage and Options Division at Compaq Computer
Corporation. He led the creation of this division, which quickly
became the fastest growing and most profitable group at Compaq
with over $5 billion in revenues. He began his career as a
management consultant at Research Triangle Institute. He also
spent five years at Exxon Company U.S.A. in marketing operations.
Mr. Mahadevan holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
from the Indian Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in
Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from the
University of Iowa. Profile
JEFF SILVA is Vice President of Marketing at MaXXan Systems, Inc.
He has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry spanning a
broad range of functional areas. Prior to co-founding MaXXan, he
was the group manager responsible for Compaq's line of storage
networking infrastructure products. Before that, Mr. Silva spent
16 years at IBM where he held both staff and management positions
in finance, sales, marketing, and business development. In 1993,
he co-founded the Fibre Channel Association and chaired that
organization through 1995. He holds a BSBA from Babson College
and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin. Profile
