WARREN HABER JR. is a Partner of Mellon Ventures bringing 10 years of
private equity and venture capital experience. At Mellon, Mr. Haber
focuses primarily on Financial Services, Information Services and
Technology. Prior to joining Mellon, he was a founding Partner of Grand
Central Holdings, an early stage, regionally focused venture capital
firm. Before Grand Central, he was with GE Equity, where he was
responsible for evaluating early and later stage venture capital
investments. His investments have included a number of well know
technology companies, several of which have completed successful initial
public offerings. Prior to GE, Mr. Haber analyzed and structured
leveraged buyouts with a middle market private equity firm. Earlier in
his career, Mr. Haber distinguished himself in BankBoston's management
development program and spent two summers as an Investment Analyst with
Allen and Company. He currently serves as a Board member of Xelus, Inc.
Mr. Haber received his MBA from the Wharton School of Business and his
