Tony Wolfe – Peoples Bancorp Of North Carolina Inc (pebk)

TONY W. WOLFE has been employed by Peoples Bancorp of North Carolina, Inc., Newton, North Carolina, since 1990 and has served as President and CEO since 1993. He was employed by First Union National Bank, South Carolina National Bank, and Northwestern Bank prior to joining Peoples Bank. Mr. Wolfe is a graduate of Wingate College and Lenoir-Rhyne College, the Carolina School of Banking at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University-Baton Rouge. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Piedmont Foundation at Lenoir-Rhyne College, the Board of Directors of Catawba Valley Medical Foundation, the Board of Directors of United Way, and the Board of Directors of Community Financial Services, The Bankers Bank. He is a member of the Newton- Conover Rotary Club and Catawba Country Club. Mr. Wolfe has previously served on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer of the Catawba Valley Rotary Club; Board of Directors of Catawba County Chamber of Commerce; Board of Advisors for the Volunteer Center; Board of Directors and Treasurer of the Catawba Country Club; Board of Directors of the Boy Scouts Newton-Conover District and Chairman of the Capital Campaign; Captain of Commercial Division, member of the Newton-Conover Budget Committee, and as a Loaned Executive for United Way. A. JOSEPH LAMPRON has served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Peoples Bank, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Treasurer, of Peoples Bancorp since December 2001. From 1996 to 2001, he was a Vice President/Change Manager in the Finance Department at Bank of America. His previous banking experience was as Controller/CFO of Citizens Savings Bank before it was acquired by BB&T. Mr. Lampron is a CPA and also has 11 years experience in public accounting with RSM McGladrey, formerly McGladrey and Pullen. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
