TONY AFFUSO is the President and CEO of UGS. Preceding his appointment
as UGS President and CEO, he was the Executive Vice President of R&D and
Operations with responsibility for the software R&D, market investment,
and operations of the company. Prior to joining UGS in 1991, Mr. Affuso
was the EDS Division President of the C4 Program on the General Motors
Account. The C4 Program was General Motors' corporate program to
develop and install a worldwide CAD/CAM/CAE/PDM technology and
information network. Before joining EDS in 1984, he was with Xerox
Corporation for 12 years. As Manager of 'Advanced CAD/CAM Technology',
Mr. Affuso planned and implemented a corporate-wide program that
automated the engineering design and tooling process for Xerox's copier
divisions. Mr. Affuso received his BS at Rochester Institute of
