TOBY CHU, has been the President, CEO, and Director of Capital Alliance
Group Inc. since its creation in 1986, and devotes his full time and
attention to the activities of Capital Alliance Group Inc. and its
subsidiaries. Mr. Chu's experience in business management and
administration is extensive. Prior to his involvement with Capital
Alliance and CIBT, Mr. Chu was the Operations Manager of a major food
distribution company that grossed $10 million in annual sales. He was
also a Director of three other computer-related companies that grossed
over $25 million in 1992. In 1993, Mr. Chu was awarded the honor of
being named as one of the 'Top 40 Business People Under the Age of 40'
by the newspaper Business in Vancouver. He has guided one of Capital
Alliance's former subsidiaries, ANO Office Automation, to become the
'33rd Fastest Growing Company out of 100 Companies in Canada' (PROFIT
magazine, 1993), the '24th Fastest Growing Company out of 50 Companies
in British Columbia' (Business In Vancouver, 1994), and 'Top 100 Public
Companies in Vancouver' (Business In Vancouver, 1996). Mr. Chu was
nominated for the 'Entrepreneur of the Year Award' sponsored by Ernst &
Young Chartered Accountants and Montreal Trust. He was short-listed as
one of the top 30 finalists among 300 nominees across Canada. In the
same year, Mr. Chu was selected by the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada
to participate in the published case study, 'Succeeding Profiles of

Mr. Chu: Capital Alliance Group has three majority-owned subsidiaries
that specialize in the areas
