THOMAS W. STEIPP, CEO of Symmetricom, Inc. joined the company in March
1998. Previously, Mr. Steipp served as Vice President and General
Manager, Broadband Data Networks for Scientific-Atlanta Corp. He also
spent 17 years in management positions with Hewlett-Packard Corp., most
recently as General Manager, Federal Computer Division. He holds a B.S.
