THOMAS BUCHANAN graduated from the University of Calgary in 1979 where
he obtained a B. Comm. He went on to achieve a Chartered Accountant
designation in 1981. In 1984, he joined Merland Explorations Ltd. as
Manager, Accounting, and when the company amalgamated with North
Canadian Oils ltd. he became Controller of the new firm from 1986 to
1988. In 1988, he became the Chief Financial Officer of Bankeno
Resources Ltd. In 1990, Mr. Buchanan founded Conley Management Corp., a
consulting company in oil and gas, real estate, and manufacturing. In
1993, he co-founded Founders Energy Ltd., and has been President and
Chief Executive Officer since that time. Profile

Mr. Buchanan: Founders was incorporated in late 1993, as a
