TAMMY HALSTEAD is Chief Financial Officer of InfoSpace, Inc. She
is responsible for InfoSpace's financial operations. As CFO, she
oversees all external reporting, including Security and Exchange
Commission report filings, quarterly earnings announcements and
meetings with investor analysts. In addition, Ms. Halstead heads
internal financial programs, including monitoring budget and
stock activity, accounting systems, purchasing and travel
systems, and payroll and options. She also manages company
mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Halstead joined InfoSpace in July
1998 as Corporate Controller. In December 1998, she was appointed
Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, and in January 2001,
was promoted to CFO. Prior to joining InfoSpace, Ms. Halstead was
the Director of Finance and Administration at Cosmix, Inc., which
was acquired by USWeb Corporation, an Internet professional
services firm. At USWeb Corporation, she went on to assume the
same role and later served as Vice President, Finance and
Administration. Prior to joining Cosmix, Ms. Halstead served for
three years as Controller of ConnectSoft, Inc, a software
development company. She also spent eight years in private
industry with a division of Gearbulk Ltd., an international
shipping company, and in public accounting with Ernst and Whinney
(now Ernst & Young). Ms. Halstead holds a Bachelor's degree in
Business Administration, with an emphasis in Accounting, from
Idaho State University, and is a licensed Certified Public
Accountant. She is on the Idaho State University College of
Business Advisory Board and was honored by the university with
the 2001 Business Award for Professional Achievement. Profile
